Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*

Don't need to say this often but he got is badly wrong today both in terms of formation and in terms of picking 3 waste of spaces in Alonso, RLC and Werner. A massive handicap.

However not on him the whole team did not bother to try.

Of course it isn’t an excuse for the dross we saw today, but he’s right and one of the reasons the atmosphere was so dead today is because of that stupid protest before the game had already soured the energy of the game. There’s a time and place and right before a game was not it, with all of the other issues surrounding the club right now did the players and the other fans need to see a group of people protesting against the club?

Did hear the Brentford fans in the first half chanting about the bridge being a library.

Is a 2 edged sword that debate though, cause once we started showing something in the last 10 minutes of the half the fans responded and the support was good.

The team lift the fans or the fans lift the team? Is both for me.

Atmosphere was pretty good when our defence decided to go AWOL though so for that display not having it on the fans.

These players don't have any concerns about their careers. If Chelsea went out of business would their careers be done? No, course not. They would get good to amazing contracts at other clubs easily.

Is it uneasy for them? Sure. But the fans don't get to cope so easily. If we get shunted to glazer like owners we will suffer miserably so is absolutely on the players to lift us at this time. We need them more now.

I will start by saying that I am a support of TT, think he is a top manager and I get the attempts to raise the crowd for the Real game as we all need to be on our A game.

However the fans are not the only excuse being used. He talked about travel and the international involvement. If it was that much of a concern why not pick a side that were not away during the break?

a back 4 was definitely surprising today and left us exposed numerous times.

bringing Reece on to left back also made no sense though you could see he desperately needs game time.

The weird part is we still played like a team playing with a back 3. You had the wing backs pushed incredibly high up at all times, which is suicide with Alonso in the side, and Rudiger was beyond the half way line taking a ton of shots. It left us constantly exposed. Both Tuchel and players should have noticed this and sorted it out.

I don't know if everything has finally caught up with the team, but from the fans, to the coach, to the players, the game just felt really off. There just seemed to be a complete disconnect and lack of interest from everybody.

According to the Daily mail Tuchel is getting divorced from his wife so it hasn't being easy on him to say the least.

If we can get top 4 i would say we had a good season and Tuchel should be proud with his achievement considering the circumstances and the drama we had over the season.

Yikes personal life in sh*t, professional life a mess, or rather the club is. Hope he can cope. Seriously that is a recipe for a mental breakdown.

Tuchel on meeting potential owners:

”It’s better not to be involved because I think strongly what makes Chelsea strong is everybody knows his role and everybody knows his role is to play to the limit and push yourself to the limit," Tuchel said when asked by reporters at Cobham Training Centre.

"Also it is to understand where your limits are and where your responsibilities lie. I don’t think that would suit me and would help any ongoing process with the sale. That’s why I think it does not help."

Bit surprised by that comment.

How can you divorce the goat?

Honestly, this kind of journalism makes me sick. Why make a headline out of a totally normal, but very private and hurtful situation in someone's life...

Next thing you know they'll be asking Thomas "so, how did Roman's sanction affect your life and led to your divorce?"

Because they have been trying to break him since all the fallout around Roman happened.

Heard about his divorce and hope he's doing well. It isn't an easy thing to go through especially when you're managing a highly competitive team in the middle of sanctions and a takeover. I can only imagine the stressful time he's having.

I am genuinely concerned for his mental health. Hopefully the club has structures in place to check on him and help him, maybe access to a shrink.

Really shame as they seemed ok with the celebrations in Porto. But obviously everyone was happy then.

I think he moved from Paris to Chelsea without his wife and kids for a significant period. It’s obviously played a part.

Maybe but they are back together now.

I'm thinking it's possible the fact that it took so long for her to move there is an indication of possible pre-existing problems.  I mean I know he got the job in a quick fashion but I don't see why it would take more than a month for her to follow him up to London.

I detest divorce.  It's a sign that someone in the relationship or both couldn't keep their promises and it's commonness IMO is a sign of the brokenness of western society and a clear indication of the failures of individualist culture that western society revolves around.  Sorry to get controversial, but to me this is sort of the ocean from which a great deal of our social problems flow from.

Last season we looked really strong against Real Madrid.

Tonight we saw Kante and Jorginho not even playing 65 minutes in total. Mount and Pulisic totally irrelevant tonight, last year in the semis both scored. Then also Lukaku totally alone and missing an easy header, that's our only new signing.

Benzema having the best season of his life and we now condeded 7 goals in the last 2 matches (maybe the second time this type of a bad period has happened under Tuchel).

Our tactic looks pretty casual right now, default is Rudiger -> Jorginho --> Kante ---> James ----> cross?

…Kante—-James——27 passes——recycle ——cross

Needs to sort out the defensive shape/system again. We were badly exposed down the right hand side tonight in the first half and likewise down the left last weekend. He hasn’t been helped by the performances of Christensen and alonso, but ultimately the responsible falls on him.

Second half was much better and we were well set up , not sure why he persists with RLC though it’s peculiar at this stage.
