September 7, 20223 yr Apparently RB Leipzig have now sacked their manager as well this morning ... Werner must be sh*tting himself about the pending new appointment LOL
September 7, 20223 yr We’ve been given permission to speak to Brian Potter. New manager for the weekend.

Bet the house on Mourinho 3.0 I'm at a point where I don't care anymore who our manager is - even Mourinho 3 would have me shrugging - as long as it's not the Fat Spanish Waiter or anyone with creepy glued-on teeth. I've seen JT mentioned a few times. For the love of a club icon, no! He has 2 (?) years at the highest level as an assistent coach and that's it. No significant offer came in for him to become head coach when he quit Villa and was clearly angling for such an appointment. Not ready for it by a long shot. And how come Kepa gets a mention here and there, what did I miss? Edited September 7, 20223 yr by Valerie
September 7, 20223 yr I’m both shocked and not surprised at the same time - never a dull moment at Chelsea. First though - a big thank you to TT for some great memories and moments that will be long in our history. Herr we go again….
September 7, 20223 yr Graham Potter would not last 12 months, there is a big difference in pressure and expectations between Brighton and Chelsea.
September 7, 20223 yr Any fan that thinks right now is the best time to sack Tuchel has completely lost their minds. You can dislike him as a coach all you like, but can you honestly say right now is the time to part ways? Are you not at least a little concerned about the handling of the club since Boehly came in? He's sacked pretty much all of the important people involved in the club, throws money around with what seems like little care for how this will effect us in the future with FFP, directly involves Tuchel in every single transfer and then throws him 5 days after the window closes. Does this look like somebody in control and knows what he is doing? Also, Pochetino? where are your standards? Haven't we already been through this with Benitez?

September 7, 20223 yr I have been unhappy with Tuchel's comments and attitude since preseason and suspect that he was ready for this decision. However, this is way too sudden. To not give him time with the new signings is incredible silly of the new regime. The club is a damn mess, right now, after the clear out of Cech and crew and now Tuchel. Skeptical that this new ownership crew has any idea at all what they are doing. The club could be in real trouble under their direction. Edited September 7, 20223 yr by ross91690

September 7, 20223 yr Its surprising the speed at which it happened but this time it didn't look like the players had downed tools. They simply looked clueless and and there wasn't any improvement in the way we played for nearly a year. TT won the CL mostly by playing counter attacking and playing on the transition. We got worse and worse when we tried to play possession heavy football. It seems its just not in our DNA no matter who the manager is. As far as the new signings are concerned, it should not be as much of an issue. None of KK, Sterling, Fofana and PEA were brought in to play some specific role in a specific system of play. They should all fit in another style of play. Cucurella can play as fullback or wingback as needed. Had some great memories with the CL and CWC wins and all the best to TT for the future.

September 7, 20223 yr Chelsea FC the most f**ked up club on the planet...you could see it coming at some point. I thought they might have given him a few more games. Todd's probably seen enough dross this year already and has apparently fallen out with TT in recent days although it would seem strange to buy all the players the manager wanted then sack him. It will certainly be an interesting season ahead

September 7, 20223 yr Do you know whats more f**ked up, we probable go on to win a big competition then go on a bad run manager gets sacked rinse and repeat!!!
