March 8, 20215 yr Just now, Imran_CFC said: I am worried, seems legit Zouma in the middle is a disaster waiting to happen. Hope at least he is on the left or right side. Mount being dropped is a huge gamble. He is the only one playing well up top. Everton are at full strength bar James and might be popping the bubbly seeing our line up. And of course Rudiger is rested. Val picked him as first scorer lmao. I would have rested against Leeds as Everton are by far a better side.

March 8, 20215 yr Didn't even realise we had the early kick off and if it weren't for a Facebook notification of the lineups wouldn't have been any the wiser. Only the second time I've ever been caught out like this.

Everton may be the better side but Leeds will make us run more which may explain why TT wants Mount and Kante fresh for that one.
March 8, 20215 yr i'm concerned with massively tinkering with a winning side teams like Barca, never drop Messi or Pique and Alba, unless unfit, this erring on the side of players may burn out, i never remember Lamps Terry or Drogs having to rest, miffed i be..... Everton are not exactly a team of turtles. Most of their midfield and forwards are blessed with good speed and strength especially DCL and Richarlison. Last time we changed out back 3 by choice we drew with a very poor saints team. Edited March 8, 20215 yr by axman2526
March 8, 20215 yr We have a good rest until Leeds I’m surprised at all the changes in a pivotal game like this tbh, can’t see the logic
March 8, 20215 yr If we can have a reasonable first half our subs imo can turn the second half into maybe, a winning half...our subs are again, imo, far superior and dangerous

March 8, 20215 yr I understand that during a busy schedule we need to rotate but 5 changes to a team which has arguably put in the best performance of the season for us in the previous game, seems like overkill especially if they are purely down to rotation and not injury. I hope Tuchel knows what he is doing.
March 8, 20215 yr I am interested to see how Havertz does as a false 9 with that sheer pace around him. Could be a master stroke.

This season is unlike any others though. A game every 3/4 days for the entire season is incredibly taxing and I believe this will start to become more evident as we enter the business end of the season. Kante and mount in particular put in huge shifts against Liverpool, and I’d imagine Tuchel is basing his decisions off stats from the medics and sports scientists.
March 8, 20215 yr Not sure about the defence line, too much changing in my opinion. Other than that, don’t see much wrong with the lineup other than that I hope that missing Mount can come back to bite us.
March 8, 20215 yr TT defo has a set of balls on him. Time to shine, Kai. Hope MM already has his his bib on running the sideline and ready.
March 8, 20215 yr Seems to me Andreas will play centeral, Zouma will be on the left because he is fast and can cover for Alonso when he pushes further forward. Looks a good team sheet to me. Mason deserves a rest, looking forward to seeing CHO further forward and Havertz in a false 9.
March 8, 20215 yr This could be the game we see the attack click, lots of pace going forward 2 good finishers when they are on song and lots of creativity from CHO
March 8, 20215 yr Feels like he’s putting his trust in a lot of players who are yet to find their shooting boots this season. Surely one of them has to start delivering soon. Alonso is the only goal scorer in that team!
March 8, 20215 yr f**k sake @coco why didn’t you make the kick off time more obvious? Nearly missed it!
