Lol.. knock it off. He isn’t going to play second fiddle to a 36yr old Dzeko. Yes; the majority of fans want him out but his stock is still high around Europe. Barca & Bayern are rumoured suitors but can’t afford the fees we will demand.

Some of the vitriol on this thread should be direct at Tuchel who could have vetoed the deal if he felt he wasn’t appropriate for his system.

Why does Tuchel want to veto transfer that he want in the 1st place?

Lukaku will be just fine in bayern. In fact I can see him scoring 30 goals easily there

Maybe, but how many are likely to come in the latter stages of the UCL which is the main thing they'll care about?

Two 😂😂😂 who the hell knows. Lol your question is too specific. You can ask me that question about benzema and I can't give your any answer but I can probably say benzema will probably score 20 goals in La Liga next season.

Funny thing about Lewandowski is he only started turning up in the big games after 2019. Ask any Bayern fans, & he is 33 now.

Salah is also notorious for not turning up in finals.

With Lukaku it is very simple there are only two destinations Inter n Bayern

No team in Spain has money except rm and they have benzema. After his love letter to inter he can't go to Juve. Psg has 3 very expensive forward already.

Bayern will probably consider Lukaku if they lose lewa but bayern is not known to be a big spender. Inter is probably the most likely destination but they are not exactly flush with money either.

Honestly, scoring in big games is good but it is more important to play well in big games. Our last final against pool, I don't give a f of him scoring. His main job was to pin pool cb and hold the ball so puli n mount can receive the ball in space. I thought he struggled to do so in that game but to be fair he created our best chance (puli shot) with his hold up play.

It is relevant as Bayern's seasons are a lot measured in how well they do in Europe and there's ten years sample size now that clearly demonstrates Lukaku doesn't have the skillset and tactical brain to make consistent impacts against the type of teams Bayern will need to beat to win the thing.

Honestly feels like he's tried to defraud us. Spent an absolute fortune to bring him here, and within 2-3 months he's saying he wants to go back and stops performing. Now we're stuck with a player that doesn't want to be here and clubs (read: Inter) can take the piss because they know we want to get rid of him.

I’d like offer the third option of him just f**king off anywhere.

But I think the point being made is that Benzema is an elite player and would command a top fee because you know that he will deliver when it really matters. You cannot say the same for our guy, there is absolutely no evidence to back it up.

Which is why I think we should just drop him to the reserves rather then give him what he wants.

That is the most undesirable one. It means we have to pay 100% of his salary and he can be on the beach somewhere chilling

Might have to accept he could still be here next season, I can't see Todd being screwed over by another club even if it wasn't his purchase.

Apparently Inzaghi has given the move his seal of approval.

All seems rather easy for me. We owe them still some 70mill of the deal, get that called off and send Lukaku back to them, therefore they do have to pay a fee and that 27mill we already paid ends up being just a expensive loan.

Inter already financed their debt through Lakaku's sale. That money is tied up. They can't let it go. That is why they are low-balling with loan fees and no option to buy, etc.

Hmm I see. A couple of players in exchange then. Surley has to be 2 players they have that TT would like.
