Their fan base are the most plastic football-philistines going, at least with Liverpool.. their fan base are mostly of the older demographic, so you’ll get some level of respect from them, since they truly understand the difference between us and City in terms of pedigree before takeovers. We are not praising them, we’re just happy the dirty scousers are not winning the quadruple, and with any luck end up just with the domestic cups. Do you really think or have sensed any respect from the Liverpool scum? With all their you ain’t got no history and that sh*t?

Well, this is it really, we all have different experiences, especially with people ‘off-line’, personally I’ve got a feeling Real Madrid will do it, so wasn’t all that worried about a quadruple but I see your point, obviously we don’t want that.
May 22, 20224 yr Thank you Man City…the way you lured the Liverpool fans in only to piss on their parade provided some of the sweetest minutes for many a year. Please Real Madrid, follow suit. Loved all us fans mocking Liverpool and Gerard in last 15 minutes today 😂 Edited May 22, 20224 yr by The Brit
May 23, 20224 yr Lets all pray for the Benzema that faced us to turn up next week! If not, 0-0 for 85 minutes then Hazard on as a sub to score!

Totally disagree with this opinion. making up songs like you aint got no history doesn't signify respect to me. even some of the older demographic say we bought everything, but they win the honourable way, which is in my opinion BS and bad manners. The players still have to go out and perform, and put their bodies on the line.

You are Spanish after all, you have closer proximity access to make sure the Real boys are fully focused and motivated, and Benzema is in killer mode. Don't let us down eh? 😉
May 23, 20224 yr Well at least the quadruple BS is settled. What’s funny is some of my Liverpool mates are mystified that Chelsea fans and United fans root for City to win the league, not understanding the majority of Chelsea and United fans don’t care for City and hate Liverpool more.
May 23, 20224 yr So surprised Pep started with Mahrez rather than Sterling. Still made it more entertaining and probably broke a few more Liverpool hearts . Had a small betting win on Leeds and don't think Liverpool are going to beat RM either.

And they will win the CL sooner or later. And when they do they’ll keep winning it. Because they're approaching the end of their cycle. KdB has maybe 2 years left and injuries has been catching up to him, Gundogan is their chance card these days. The same goes for Pool. We were once in their position and even then it was hard to replace a generation of winners again and again.
May 23, 20224 yr I know it’s abit early but I was thinking about the race for top 4 next season. It’s looking like it will surely be a tight race with many teams competing. I know it’s never normally a straight shootout by the top 6/7 teams as usually one or two teams will struggle or run into problems. City - guaranteed Liverpool - pretty much guaranteed (I’m hoping for a full on meltdown season) Chelsea - SHOULD be good enough The rest: United, Spurs, Arsenal Plus possible Newcastle depending on how they spend Big competition coming up I think. We need to be wise
May 23, 20224 yr We could be anywhere from 3rd to 17th. It really depends how many players we lose and who we sign to replace them, and how they all fit in.

Obviously this could all be rubbish, but there was speculation about this after they won the title a couple of years ago, leading to this article: Why Liverpool won’t win the Premier League this season – Back Page Football The predictions made in this article were spot on. After winning the title, Liverpool form collapsed spectacularly the following season and they even lost 2nd spot to United. Based on this I would expect something similar next season, after they went all out this year.

Remember how they (nearly) all tested positive for covid at the same time, and then simiultaneously found out the results were wrong? Maybe they should all be retested for asthma to see how accurate their diagnoses were

We always win it in a routine fashion, would love to do it one day with an incredible moment. There is something special about winning a game after you are a goal or two behind. For the PL to actually hinge on you getting the result, it must make it totally Orgasmic!! Look at some of our great comebacks over the years - the 4-2 Liverpool win under Gullit when we were 2-0 down and went on to lift the FA Cup. Losing to Spurs before beating them 4-3 with a Steino penalty. There are more no doubt, but these games stick in the memory and it's why we all love football. Seeing the sheer joy on those City fans faces when that 3rd goal went in is what football is all about and of course that was made even better, knowing there would be dippers in tears up and down the country, but especially at Binfield! If they’re in place by the first day of pre season, we’ve a good chance of top four otherwise next season could turn into a struggle.
