Still too early to say with transfers yet to be finalized for every club, but champions nonetheless!

I feel we have a good chance as any, with City slightly favourites based on the past few seasons, but I do think we'll outrun them this year, especially if we start the season on a roll and they have a hard time coping without Kevin and Foden for the first few games.

Don’t think we’re the finished article all these pundits are saying we are just yet - top four definitely. Hopefully we’ll be in the mix towards the end of the season.

Champions. Under Abramovich, we've never had a title drought that exceeds 5 years.

After the fantastic end to last season, I think the squad will have the hunger to win more trophies and Lukaku is a big addition to the squad.

City is our biggest threat, particularly if they sign Kane.

Just looking at the expert predictions and they all go for the same top four teams in various orders. Surprised Leicester didn’t make it into someone’s top 4.

Pity Jermaine Jenas hadn’t been asked. Chelsea wouldn’t have made his top 4 and Tottenham predicted as champions.

My prediction would be runners up.

Jermaine Beckford has predicted Leicester will be 4th.

We showed last season we can be the meanest defence in the land, that's how this silverware haul started for us back in 2003.

We managed to get top 4 last season without any big goal scorers.

Now we have Werner entering his 2nd season and for the first time the Chelsea fans will be behind him trying to lift him, along with the beast Lukaku.

Then add to that Tommy Tuchel will be 6 months wiser on what the EPL is about, and how it's a totally different league to all others in it's depth of strength.

Considering all that YES !!! We can win the league this season.

But were going to have to be 3pts 3pts 3pts 3pts 3pts......

I mean... crazier things have happened.

We probably have one of the best four starting XIs in the league, and under Tuchel we've been good in the big games. Lukaku should make a big difference in one of our problem areas - actually managing to score in games we completely dominate.

On the other hand our depth in a few key areas is a huge step down from the starting XI. If Mendy, Kanté, Mount or Lukaku are unavailable for an extended period we don't have an alternative who offers anything like the same quality.

Ultimately I think we'll come up short. Also I think people have forgotten how good Liverpool are.

Third.

I appreciate after less than a single round of fixtures it is bold to predict anything, but I fancy it’s a season where the winners can’t afford to lose more than three games tops.

I feel we can win it this year. I honestly dont see any weaknesses in our team after buying Rom.

Why did you have to go and put the mocker on us like that?!

I'll wait to see the proof in the pudding when it comes to Lukaku. We've bought so many failed strikers with good pedigree I honestly have no idea whether he'll work out or not.

For mine it depends on which Chelsea turns up consistently. If it's the Palace Chelsea we could make a run at it. If it's the Villareal Chelsea we'll be battling for fourth again. I'm not sure Palace are a good measure. I could easily see them going down the way they played yesterday. We'll have a better idea after our next run of games.

Going to depend on how well VVD has recovered from that lengthy injury lay off.

Some players come back from those just fine (Ibrahimovic) others never look the same again (Essien).

Mane looked really out of form last season and the question was asked if their forward line has gone stagnet through a lack of investment/competition. Although Jota is looking a shrewd buy.

Midfield is the one area for Liverpool I think they might struggle. They've lost  Wijnaldum, Henderson is coming back from a long lay off and Thiago really struggled with the league last season.

Yeah I raised an eyebrow when I saw their midfield yesterday. Keïta, Oxlade-Chamberlain and a 35-year-old Milner didn't strike me as league-winning quality, particularly when they were up against Billy Gilmour the Scouse slayer.

Keïta is a weird one, sometimes he looks quality and others bang avarage. They've got Fabinho who's quality though. Maybe Thiago comes good after an adjustment period in England but I just think Liverpool kind of expect Klopp to keep getting the same level of performance from the same group of players year on year with minimal investment which rarely works out.

Sorry, but we have no-hope of winning the league this season, and I still feel we are a couple of players short to actually challenge for it,definitely another midfielder is needed.
