Absolutely disgusting. The ball hit his arm from the leg and then the arm followed through making no further contact. 
How can a player not get booked for kicking the ball away, this has been a rule for 30 years.

Absolute waste of space.. clearly the qualifications for a ref is to be able to run around like a headless chicken..

Imo it's not because he touched the ball, but because he moved the ball with his arm after it touched him. Plus, he's on the goal line. Unlucky, but I can see how you can give a red card there. Even worse when you see Mendy would've caught the ball the moment before but Alonso headed it out of his hands basically.

that was the issue - better comms / composure and Mendy would have gathered it . although it's easy to say that not so easy in the heat of the moment

This was on the cards as soon as the match ref was announced. He always screws us over.

Basically Anthony Taylor f**k decision after looking at VAR. We need to lodge complaint to pl. That was just beyond ridiculous 

More annoying is that we should be well in front before the dodgy refereeing decision. We are clearly the better side, a penalty yes but the red is unjust.

How sweet would it be if we beat them with us having 10 players on the pitch. Just to shut them all up and with this travesty of a referee.

It's always the game changing decisions too. I have never seen anything like it from any other ref in my life watching football. 

I can't see us winning this one with a player less unless something incredible happens like for example Werner scoring twice in 5 minutes...
