Oliver has given all 50/50 to them. But we have been extremely poor .. not happy with the coach and some of the player performances.

Considering we're losing to a deflected shot I'm not too worried. I do think as good as the 352 looked, based on the evidence of this game not the right choice. As a few have mentioned we were too passive. I think Tuchel got a couple things wrong here but, we can't hold it against him nobody tends to beat Pep as regularly as we have and perhaps playing too defensive has cost us. 

Look it's hard to beat Man City but it's impossible if you don't have a shot on target. The silver lining is Man U are down to Villa.

It's annoying that our coaches always need to learn that Alonso just isn't suited to certain games. No matter how well he plays in previous games, he has weaknesses that just can't be ignored. He's been one of our weakest links today.

I’m not so sure this is all about being too negative from the start. I think it’s more simply that they are better than we are and for the first time for a while they’ve proven that.

RLC has been our best non defensive player

We were never brave today until we went a goal down, far too passive from the outset

No. We started too slow and way too defensive. If we played with a bit more ambition, we could have got something. Even Southampton played with more ambition that we did in the first 60 minutes.

Tough loss

Dominated and outplayed by the better side.

Tuchel got it wrong today. On paper 3 in the middle sounds like it would work, but too many players were sloppy and off the pace, and we couldn't deal with the press, meaning there was no transition from defence to attack at all. 

No shots on target in the whole game sums up how dominated we were.

Three centre backs who finished the game, mendy and Ruben only ones to turn up today. The rest were very disappointing. Only plus side, citeh have only drawn level.

Pretty cowardly from us today. We'd have played like that all game if they hadn't scored. 

Hate going into a game to just not lose with no ambition to win. 

Tuchel need to make RLC his project. Clearly there is a world class player somewhere in him, he needs a lot of coaching. The only positive from today for me.

Hmmm. Poor today but still think we'll  be up there competing come May
