I take it in that case you innocently forgotten about the fact we played a back 5 for large parts of that season and when we did Cucu was seen more as a LCB option as opposed to deliberately leaving it out for personal agenda 😀

Cucurella played CB in the league 6 times that season, so he still started at LB/LM as much as Chilwell did and was performing much worse.

January 12Jan 12 I would rather rot on the bench at Atletico than join the Spuds. What is he thinking?

January 13Jan 13 For f**k's sakeWell worth it though so we could sign that scrub João Félix for the second time. Top work sporting directors. BlueCo are f**king morons.
January 13Jan 13 We should have been in for him. Guy wants to live in London, cant blame him. He didnt want to leave, SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN SOLD...
January 13Jan 13 Still doesn’t hurt as much as the Mount transfer did.Never really rated him all that highly, good not great is a fair summary.

On a footballing level and sentimental. It was evident then (and even more obvious now) that Mount was just so far and away from regaining his 2019-2021 form. Add the fact he rejected two deals, one of which was a 6 year deal at £200kwp, on top of his ISIS goodbye video with he and his father acting like children in the United dressing room "home". Nah f**k him. Gallagher was actually improving as a player and wanted to be here, even ignoring moves to Spurs/Everton/Villa as a result.
January 13Jan 13 I'm surprised he didn't opt for Villa head of Spurs. I guess he must have a strong preference for living in London rather than Birmingham !

Mount was the ‘face’ of the Cobham success story and seemed to be the next stalwart of the side. The drop off coupled with that horrific video made it all the worse.Connor was just sort of here one day and gone the next.
January 13Jan 13 He chose Spurs because the Villa option was only for a loan. Conor and his family are all Chelsea, it must have been tough for him when the club decided to get rid of him..And we brought Felix to Chelsea as part of the deal FFS He would rather be at his childhood club, this is all our f**king fault, the fans had a large banner made with Conor on it, he saw it and applauded, looking emotional before kick off ..It had to be those North London c**ts didn't it , I wish him the best, but not for ANY game he plays for those f**kers Edited January 13Jan 13 by The Rising Sun Information

January 13Jan 13 Not that they need help self-destructing, but it's good to have agent Gallagher as a mole in Sp*rs squad.

January 14Jan 14 Good luck to him, I hope he reaches the similar levels of success at Spurs as Harry Kane.
