How United got a point out of that is a joke. We dominated them and should of been 3 easy points. Even United at it's worst, manage to still nick something against us. Bloody annoying and allowing them to concede within minutes of us scoring is poor. James MOTM by far. His crossing was brilliant tonight.

Possession is good pretty football is good but when you don’t convert it to goals, it ultimately means f**k all

Tonight showed why we have not improved from last season in respect to Liverpool and City

Ultimately this performance was disappointing given we have played so well upto the final third

I was hoping we'd beat United so we could deliberately do Frank a favour on Sunday, but guess we're at least going to fake a fight there. 

The intensity was of a glorified friendly, but this team is a different beast with someone as aggressive as Reece at rwb. Hope we get a decent sub for him this summer.

I dont disagree, the problem is that he can be the best player in the world and give 10/10 performances for 89 minutes, but it is all for nothing if he continues the constant mistakes and carelessness, which are costing us goals.

I’m not a stats man but 1.97 xg vs 0.57 xg for Utd, and we come back home with a draw. I know @Argo always comments that we should be keep going because with those chances teams tend to reach the potential through the league, but this is our second season with those numbers and we’re still not reaching the said potential. Not sure what is failing other than mentality.

A bit harsh on Werner who didnt really miss anything blatent - Havertz was far more wasteful with the clear cut opportunities he had.

Yet despite the Kai's misses, we got ourselves into a lead, only for another lose ball from one of the twins to cost us another goal

Mount didn’t offer much bar the three gems of crosses flashed across the goal, the sublime flick into James path, the first time cross field pass that completely opened the play… could have been 4 assists and a run on goal and them are just on the top of my head

We played good football tonight because United allowed us to. They did feck all. Which is why this performance is absolutely disgusting, Ronaldo having 1 good chance and it was at the back of the net. While we had chance after chance and lacked anything in the final third.

Totally agree with you. Can’t see how they get home satisfied with today’s performance other than by being complacent. If that’s the case, we should sell them to Newcastle, they can be happy there being mediocre and not fulfilling their full potential.

I thought mount was pretty disappointing throughout. His passes are regularly slightly late or slightly behind the intended player. So often the ball is crying out to be played in front of a player to run on to, but the slight delay and/or underhit means that the receiving player has to break stride, or check his run...and all of a sudden the momentum of the move is gone. 

Mount is guilty of this a lot. Kante as well. Azpi as well.

Makes me angry we had the same problem last season so we’ve splashed 100m on our attack, and it’s bloody regressed! Absolute clowns the board

You could also say that we allowed them to score too easy. They played at home and the only reason they got a point was due to us, they just happen to have that 1 attack where Matic does a floater pass out of the blue as if it's a friendly and he's trying to make a joke on Kante and Jorginho... Without that 1 moment they basically stink at home and their fans looked dire the whole time.

Depressing. Was expecting to lose points but still hurts. We are nowhere close to City or Pool.
