September 2, 20223 yr Looking forward to seeing him, Sterling and Pulisic link up when his jaw is all healed. Now that is some front line 👌 15 minutes ago, timetowaste said: What genius said it was a good idea to let him have the number 9 kit Oh dear lord! Did not TT even talk about the curse of the number 9 shirt already? Has Auba not been through enough already with his family terrorized that we though "nah let's give him the 9" as well, really rub salt in the wound...shesh
September 2, 20223 yr How's his jaw? Hopefully he gets on the field on Saturday, making a return on another Derby day. Screw the Number 9 curse, I'm glad someone is taking that on.

Screw the Number 9 curse, I'm glad someone is taking that on. He won't. He is not allowed any contact until next week. Depending on how he heals is 3 to 6 weeks. In Broja I trust!

September 2, 20223 yr Be good to have a proper striker up front, but i do hope were already looking for his replacement, we need to get a step ahead of everyone else somehow.
September 2, 20223 yr Probably in minority, but I'm satisfied with this piece of business. Gives us a striker for this year and allows us the time to search for someone more long term or develop Broja over the course of the season

Last 2 seasons have shown a massive decline from his usual numbers He scored 15 in 31. I agree top goal threat is a stretch, but he's still an excellent goalscorer and well beyond anything we have, I guess
September 2, 20223 yr Attitude will define this signing. If he arrives hungry to prove Arteta wrong, trains well, his performances on the pitch will prove him to be a smart acquisition. Then again there is the player within that stunk Arsenal out..question is, which one will we get?

September 2, 20223 yr Let's face it, Auba wasn't the only one phased out by Arteta, rightly or wrongly. My concern is whether he really wanted to be here, or just be forced out by Barca, and that robbery definitely had an effect on him. For the proven, short term fix, it's either him or Ronaldo, so it's a good outcome for us in the end.

September 2, 20223 yr Honestly, at this point, I'd take 10 goals from absolutely anyone this season. If that turns out to be Auba, all the more better! But I'd also like to maintain my skepticism. Edited September 2, 20223 yr by Girish
