I can't see Abraham getting that either. I like the lad but a player that needs 3-4 attempts to score is never going to succeed in a side that only creates 2 a couple of chances a game. Sadly I think he would be the new Welbeck under Potter

There was no conviction in anything he did, it was odd.

The man's just lazy. Then again, what do you expect from a 33-year old journeyman. He's still useful in certain scenarios and it's good to have him as one of attacking options but at the moment he doesn't look like someone who can start for a side to that aims to win big trophies.

Come on guys he had good positioning to get into scoring positions but then fluffed them. We just need a striker who will put them in now, I'm no longer even expecting all the bells and whistles of building up the play or creating etc. just score ffs

One thing's for sure ... Tammy's a lovely chap but he won't be the answer LOL.

Fix the midfield and wings and create more chances, and our current forwards will have much better numbers. There isn't a forward in world football that is clinical enough to score 20+ goals in a league season with 1 or 2 chances per game to work with ... especially when most of them are half chances at best ...

Wouldn't argue with that SF, but the very best strikers are also capable of making their own chances fairly regularly. Often out of very little. Drogba, Henry, Aguero etc.

Broja looks like a player who MAY have that ability. Fingers crossed.

Agreed. Broja looks like the one forward we have who has a little bit of "je ne sais quoi" about him that might actually "hurt" opponents. Probably his combination of physicality and pace. 

Aubameyang looks like a stop gap purchase, a bit of short term sticking plaster, and declining due to age.

Havertz has had enough opportunities to demonstrate he is the wrong stuff for sure. I hope he has a good World Cup to attract Bayern's attention.

Sterling is being rapidly found out as a poor man's Timo Werner (and you have to ask why City were happy to sell him when he was still only 27)

Again, agree with all of that. Pulisic is doing all that could be asked of him in his recent substitute cameos. Probably deserves a start on the back of those.

I was a big fan of Havertz and fully signed up to the "generational talent" label. But despite having the odd highlight, I accept he hasn't lived up to it and looks a shadow of the player he was in Germany. Yet another player who hasn't adapted well to the EPL.

Despite his lack of form, I hope he starts on Sunday. Putting him up against the former club he dislikes would be enough ammo to get him firing at least for that game.

He's got no ill will towards Arsenal (well yet, that may change if their fans cross lines on Sunday) just the manager.

Disappointing, thought he'd at least step up against his former team, but he did f**k all. 

Does not deserve to start.  Sets a terrible tone and unable to offer enough.  Bit of a luxury player and would do well at a team like Barcelona - did we keep the receipt.

What pains me most is he is standing in the way of Broja's development.

Didn't think he was too bad. Felt sorry for him more than anything. 

We simply don't have the midfield or attack to cater to him. Broken record, but when Mount and Havertz who have the worst awareness in the final third are meant to be supporting you, you won't succeed. Add Sterling hugging the touchline and looking half arsed, it adds more frustration. 

Offers absolutely nothing off the ball. Lukaku without the talent. Pointless for games in which we willingly cede possession (he started in the other one too).

The same applies to Jorginho, but at least there Potter has the excuse of the other players who would be competing for that position being injured.

A big part of it is without James we do not get decent crosses in from the right side, for a right footed attacker that is what is needed.
