Yeah it was a quad tear. A bitch of an injury to recover from.

Back early March.

I did mine kicking the ball in the warm-up before my first ever game for my college. Didn't properly recover for about 4 months, and to be honest the injury nagged at me for years after that. Might have been a bit psychological, in that I feared I'd tear the muscle again if I went to really leather the ball.

At least it taught me the importance of warming up properly, so long-term it might have prevented other muscle injuries.

Same. Forgot how it happened, but it happened during my tryouts/preseason my junior year of high school.

Couldn't run or kick a ball without pain. I did massage and physical therapy for weeks, and just when the pain started to go away and I could run again, the pain would flare back up after a training session. Took me out my entire Junior year and didn't really recover until 4-5 months later when I was doing nothing.

Gotta feel for the young lad, must be gutted to have been injured this long after signing.

Quite sad to see so many fans slating him (mostly on social media), I`m pretty sure he doesnt want to be injured.

must be traumatic seeing a bank balance going up 100k per week for having your legs rubbed by a physio daily... just filled a rehab pool with my tears.

I do get what you mean despite my pithy comment, its professional football and sport, but tbh, it's us fans who are paying him to rehabilitate. It's the ticket prices, shirts, pies & pints in the ground and other things that go up to give a player a guided existence. But Honestly think the club should just claim the insurance on them.

Forfana is just mugging the club off at this point. He will never be the same again. Leicester probably still cant believe their luck they bent Todd over in his Brighton sex dungeon. Lavia has lost an entire season of football and sporting development integration with the side. Will he now be as good as his promise showed? no. I dont think so... but I honestly wish the best for these young gents. But on someone else's dime.

I also question the desire to play too. I think it's far too easy to sit or hide on the sidelines and not get involved because things haven't gone well on the field this season.

It has been a regular issue for a number of seasons. If any manager has our fully available squad - think results would have been different. Our midfield needs power, it clearly takes a toll on players and rotation is needed. We haven't had the rotation so actually kudos to Caicedo/ Enzo/ Gallagher on their fitness and stamina, unlike others, they have all shown they're physically capable of staying fit and being in our plant room.

Anyhow... back to the premier league... life is good again even if our results might not be.

If you think all there is to life is money then I pity you massively.

Its ironic that we all had a good chuckle about pipping the bin dippers to Caicedo then a few days later signing this bloke again allegedly from under their noses.

Looks like the last and biggest laugh of all is on this club and the new board. Reckon did the Vermin a favour, they got better players that stay fit longer for a lot less money and are top of the league.

Charity FC doesn't stop there, Jorginho to the gooners for 12 mill he looks great for them in a proper team with a proper coach, Havertz was a good bit of business and up until recently we had all been laughing at that one, now he's come good for them. Lewis is going to the barcodes. And Connor looks like is going for a song to the Spuds in the summer along with any academy boys still on the books.

Levy has nearly always had a policy of not strengthening EPL rivals, yet our new owners will sell to anybody, for obvious reasons.

Back to Lavia, like others that Clearfake have signed for silly money is a sicknote. We have all just accepted that a 1/3rd of the bloated squad will be permanently unavailable due to injury. Sad state of affairs.

it won't get mentioned by the pundits  it doesn't suit their agenda ...bet the 1BN spend does though

Never more evident than in the League Cup final - Klopp's Kids, injuries for Liverpool etc. Problem is mugs believe the media.

We all know the only three things in life anyone could really want

One of the journos on one of the Chelsea podcast said that we had hired “world class” and “elite” physios/medics so I really don’t understand what is going on and we still seem to be suffering from so many long term injuries.

- James

- Chilwell

- Nkunku

- Lavia

- Carney

…even Colwill with supposed minor toe injury turns out to be weeks.

It’s ridiculous. Poch doesn’t stand a chance in these circumstances.

Where's Ugochukwu.  Completely disappeared.

Really dont want or need your pity. I see what I see... I see lame ducks who have arrived on massive fees doing nothing to justify the expense being lavished upon them or justifying the contracts they have. It's what's known as throwing good money after bad. The players in question have been awful "investments". deny that claim...

If you think that there is anything else to football besides money, youre a fool. Success and money go hand in hand in sport, Without it you and us fans wouldn't have the silverware cabinet we currently do or the or the ability to chant "we've won it all"

Anyhow, tell me again how Forfana and Lavia haven't been absolutely shocking signings.

From last June. Again, you can't tell me it's a coincidence that these injuries are happening to us. This amateur medical team has played a massive part in messing up the entire season for us.

It's happening to every club at the moment.

We've actually been lucky with injuries the last couple of months in comparison to most of the other big sides.

The stupidly timed world cup on the back of cramming in games to finish the covid season has messed loads of teams up for injuries, it's no coincidence.

I think there still needs to be accountability for all these set backs.

Nkunku, Lavia, Lesly, Chalobah, Carney are never fit for their approx return date. We are left in the dark as fans and next you know, we get news they picked up a fresh injury.

Feel like screaming every time I see the words 'rehabilitation programme'

So we paid £50 million ish for this guy who manages 30odd minutes in a season and yet we sell Billy Gilmour for a fee rising to £9million

who is now a mainstay of a Brighton midfield ...amazing work TB with TT

Bizarre thing with Gilmour is that we sold him to Potter at Brighton and then 2 days later hired Potter himself. 😂

Too many young players .. bodies not fully developed hence so many muscle injuries.. so many young players go thru this.. some out grow these injuries and others become wilshire..
