Completely out of his depth. Can't see any argument going his way right now, he had a top 4 squad and got backed by a huge amount of money and he still can't do absolutely anything. Whoever believes that Potter is going to be a top manager is deluded, the sooner the club cuts him off the better.

I've been preaching patience but I think mine is about to run out.

Why is Ziyech starting most games when we obviously were happy to let him go?

Why is Auba suddenly brought into the fold? 
 

He does what every Chelsea manager has done since Roman came in - go for experience when the pressure is on, when the experienced players brought us here in the first place. Stick to your decisions!

For me, he’s woefully incapable of dealing with a big club. Tactically he’s really uninspiring. I wanted so bad to have a manager long term, and Potter seems like a good person I want to succeed. 
But this cant continue, I’m done.

 

People have to stop pining for Tuchel. His results by the end were abysmal and the performances were shocking. Apparently, there were issues with him behind the scenes that others have alluded to previously.

However, appointing Potter seems be a big mistake. The longevity of the contract looks insane now.

This time last year Champions League and Super Cup and World champions now nearer to the relegation zone than the champions league he has to go no more excuses about projects and jelling and process he's a two bob manager/ coach.

The contract looked insane at the time as did hiring Potter in the first place.

I'm no longer Pining for Tuchel.

Potter is so bad I'm now pining for Fat Rafa, AVB, Scolari, Neil Warnock and Big Sam.

Probably would take Lukaku as player manager.

At this point it really is anyone but Graham Pottee.

Nope. The squad had 2 days off and another day off for certain players.

Then today Potter played an entirely new XI. 

Ok my bad, from reading some of the recent posts it seems many have taken the blinkers off for the whole English manager thing.

Oh but the injuries ... and did you know the opponent was well prepared? The preseason was also really bad and Spurs were allowed to play with 11 men. It's just too hard to win. We should appreciate the good effort though. Did you see Ziyech? He did so well almost getting himself sent off while doing f**k all all game. Mount was a bit too precise with the passing but at least he got himself a pointless yellow card. Aubameyang got a fair chance, almost 10 minutes at the end of the game. Couldn't be happier with Potter. Great future ahead, we just have to be patient and trust the process. I can't wait for next summer when we overpay for another group of signings only to then derail their career with garbage football ... er... I mean Potter-ball.

Excuses galore to justify keeping a manager in a job that was vastly under qualified to get it in the 1st place, and has shown zero signs that he is capable of growing the role.

I'm sure when Lampard was on the run that lead to his dismissal, there was a lot of shifting the blame, pointing to other factors, but for me it's simple. Lampard was not a world class manager, Tuchel took the same players and turned them into world champions.

Potter is also not a world class manager. There are options available that are a similar level to Tuchel before he came here. A better manager gets better results with these players. 

He needs to go asap, every week he is here, is another week that mediocrity is accepted at this club.

 

If anyone is still saying he needs time, they need their head checked.

I can't either, but the bottom 3 won't jump ahead of us. We'll at least pick up some points along the way, not a great deal. I think we can definitely drop near the relegation zone though.

 

He needs to be sacked tonight the guy is simply not up to being a Chelsea manager . Football is boring surely Todd must be thinking £600 million spent on sh*t

Statistically the worst manager in CFC history. The sooner he's sacked the better, anything else is just deflecting.
