I disagree. We carry on with this form into next season with Potter, our best players will want to leave because obviously they deserve better than relegation dogfight.

We need to sack Potter before it’s too late.

Let them go. There are new players coming on to the scene every day.

We will replace the ungrateful lot. No player is bigger than the manager and if its not working it's their fault.

After all GP is the best young English manager of his generation. We should be doing everything to ensure he is supported, keeps his job and we can finally be a stable club.

I'll be off to my local boozer soon to brag about my club's new found love with stability and the progress we are making with it. Easy peasy.

Saw this doing the rounds today.  Pain.

I'd expect tottenham to win their next 7 against us while Conte is there and Potter is here.

You're never going to back a Potter team against a Conte side.

Potter's press conference sounds like he knows he's gone after this. Boehly must've told him we needed a result this weekend or else. Looks like it's finally over.

They can all go to hell. Boehly will just replace them all.

Mr. Moneybag. Do you thinks he's a pauper like Roman who was just spending hefty sums on manager sackings.

TB will use the savings from manager sackings to replace them and if the players don't want to come and play for one of the best young English managers, a real cool head, a gentleman's gentleman, tactically astute manager then the loss is theirs.

If the can't see the benefits of playing in a team that has stability in management then they have their priorities all wrong.

We have won so many titles in the past 20 years through managerial instability. Let us at least win the stability title as well then maybe after 5 years of stability we can set another goal.

I can’t tell if this is a serious post or not.

Oh so he's not blaming Tuchel's pre-season this time?

The players hurting is indicative enough they too have finally lost hope. Enzo must be devastated after his comments midweek.

What enzo comments ?

Potter’s ineptness doesn’t absolve Tuchel for the poor performances he displayed at the end of his tenure.

Do you think losing 3-0 to Leeds, or 2-1 to Southampton, or losing to Zagreb where in the post match presser he admitted he had no answers to arresting the slump was acceptable?

Telling the fans to be patient. Sticking his neck out there for Potter only to put his faith in a manager who doesn't even know how to utilize his talents let alone the rest of the teams.

I know. Tell them.

After all the cup finals of the last season, he was just so mentally fatigued and bereft of any more ideas.

A poor 6 league game run which saw us in 4th position and 5 points behind 1st was proper night marish.

Now at least we can allow GP have a run of games,l. In no time, I'm sure maybe even as soon as the next game it might become 3 wins in 17 games.

I don't even know how you lot can keep bringing this up all the time when you're watching us play the way we have been for the past 4 months.

Tuchel didn't even get a chance to turn it around, and boy did he deserve a chance after what he did here and his record at the club spoke for itself. Potter has earned absolutely nothing, and we have conceded more goals than we have scored here, that's horrendous form. If you want to cling onto a sample of about 10 games managed under Tuchel early in the season be my guest. At least we actually showed up against a horrible team like Tottenham and were extremely unlucky to not win the game.

Not to mention a massive cash injection and a chance to play with our new signings but we still don't look any better. But yeah our terrible truly awful disastrous first 6 Premier League games are what we need to keep hammering on about to somehow prove it's not so bad under Potter.

yes

The new owners have to take a lion's share of responsibility for what's been happening. The arrogance with which they have been operating have cost the team this season.

Feel sorry for Potter, he seems like a decent bloke but looks completely out of his depth at the moment.  The worst part is, I don't see how it's going to get better, I really don't. All that time in training every week and yet come matchday the team looks out of ideas. I dIid notice today some short passing patterns that reminded me of his style at Brighton but that's about it. He never had that kind of pressure before and he's failing. Unfortunately.

I just feel that his personality doesn't fit the environment at Chelsea. Whatever he's trying to do, the players aren't responding. The confidence is low and he clearly isn't the man to turn it around. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see where do we go from here.

This is the worst I felt about this club in a very long time. Been feeling depressed for weeks now, hoping against hope things get better.

What current Premier League coach do you guys think would do a worse job at Chelsea than Potter? The only one I can think of is maybe Gary O'Neil from Bournemouth

Who on earth are you even talking about? There's no Chelsea fans left who back Potter.

Potter being sh*t doesn't make the criticisms of Tuchel redundant.

It wasnt acceptable, but Tuchel had done more than enough to be given time to turn it around.

They have written the season off for Potter, Tuchel got sacked at the 1st hurdle.

It's crazy the amount excuses being made for Potter, when you actually think about what Tuchel went through in 18 months here.

Difference is one manager win CL, Club world cup, 2 domestic finals, and 2 top 4 finishes, while the other is statistically the worse Chelsea manager ever.

Which one are the board fighting to keep faith with?

Tuchel got 10 points from a possible 18. Potter is on a run of 21 out of a possible 54.

Tuchel didn't even get a chance of turning it around and he is arguably one of the best managers that have managed Chelsea Football Club and even more so that he stewarded the club in a moment of genuine crisis.

Somehow, Potter gets a season written off and he still makes a pig's ear out of it.
