Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager

Featured Replies

I’ve really tried to think there is a bigger and better picture with Potter, even if I can’t see it. But, man, I just don’t see how we can continue with this. There is no improvement. At all. We look more lost and less interested than we did when Potter took over.

it’s come to a point now where we can’t continue like this. There needs to be change

Even the most respectful known fans are coming out now.

He is NOT a real fan. The real ones are here and we know ourselves. Stability is what we want. Not stupid wins or titles.

Let the man breath, he was only appointed yesterday and a full new squad with no pre season. He needs time.

We should all be thankful Todd can give the manager a chance to work his magic. These things can sometimes happen quickly like how the last Chelsea manager came in and turned things around quickly, or ETH at Utd or even how Villa have steadily climbed the table and now behind us after Unai Emery.  They could also take a while like Conte at Chelsea or Klopp at pool or Arteta at Le Arse.

Key thing is we need to give GP, a great young English manager, touted for the English manager job and achieved great things with one team in Norway (sorry I forget their name now......understand or something like that) and two other great English footballing institutions, one a great team in Wales proper big hitters and another one, one of the best if not the best seaside club in our land.

This is what builds character in men. We fail together and when we rise, we RISE. Let's just be thankful we can finally be a club that will give a manager time, a proper stable club.

The only reason why Potter hasn't been sacked is because Boehly and co have absolutely no understanding of the sport they have involved themselves with. There hasn't been a single thing that has improved since Potter arrived, everything has gotten worse. Are people really that deluded that they believe that things will improve if he gets a pre season? He's not good enough and we're heading down if Boehly and co don't get educated quickly about football.

It's quite telling that this huge Analytics department that Boehly has brought in haven't been able to drop one single positive statistic into the media ...

A legitimate question for Graham. What exactly do we do in training? There isn't even any marginal improvement week on week. We pass the ball aimlessly, create nothing, and simply don't look like scoring. The press has disappeared and most of the players look like they are now going through the motions. We are simply awful to watch and but for having points in the bank already, this side would be in a relegation battle.

I can't either, but the bottom 3 won't jump ahead of us. We'll at least pick up some points along the way, not a great deal. I think we can definitely drop near the relegation zone though.

Everton just need to win 4 games and we'll be right there in relegation.

It's crisis mode in slow motion

I’ll be okay with this but tell that to all the big name signings to accept mediocrity. Also good luck telling Felix to stay and Osimhen to come.  Also Nkunku might want to tear up his contract now.

Graham doesn't believe in training. He believes in giving players a day off.

Surely this is it, he knows he's out of his depth

Oh so he's not blaming Tuchel's pre-season this time?

The players hurting is indicative enough they too have finally lost hope. Enzo must be devastated after his comments midweek.

They can all go to hell. Boehly will just replace them all.

Mr. Moneybag. Do you thinks he's a pauper like Roman who was just spending hefty sums on manager sackings.

TB will use the savings from manager sackings to replace them and if the players don't want to come and play for one of the best young English managers, a real cool head, a gentleman's gentleman, tactically astute manager then the loss is theirs.

If the can't see the benefits of playing in a team that has stability in management then they have their priorities all wrong.

We have won so many titles in the past 20 years through managerial instability. Let us at least win the stability title as well then maybe after 5 years of stability we can set another goal.

Remember guys results don't matter.

We have a long term project under a promising manager who has got rid of deadwood like Mudryk, Fofana and Badiashille and is developing our young future stars like Ziyech and Koulibaly.

I know some fair weather supporters might say no one has improved in 6 months but 6 months isn't long enough for any improvement.  We didn't sign all these players to 8 year contracts because we expected to win in the next few seasons.

I really do believe with a bit of luck, £2Billion more on players and 5 or 6 seasons Potter could get us to were Newcastle are now.

Let's just imagine a scenario where we finish 16th, we stay up, but nothing has actually improved, do those that say stick by Potter actually believe he can improve things? When does that happen in football? Just look at Everton last season, Lampard saved them, but nothings changed, they are still terrible and are desperate for results. That will be us next season if Potter is still here in July.

I remember saying weeks back we could be at risk of a relegation battle and someone said we won’t Ben because we are Chelsea and we will get better we’ll we are now officially closer to the bottom and top with arguably the worst form we will be in a relegation battle sooner rather than later so get ready for it.

I think we all know deep down this fraud will still be here for the forseeable future.

I disagree. We carry on with this form into next season with Potter, our best players will want to leave because obviously they deserve better than relegation dogfight.

We need to sack Potter before it’s too late.

Hate to say it but we are sinking without a trace right now..this could’ve disastrous and we could actually get relegated unless we do something.. forget top 4 and UCL we are in trouble.

Potter: “I take full responsibility, players gave everything” (NBC)

Potter really said this. He needs to do the right thing.

But he is doing the right thing. Taking responsibility.

Proper stand up guy.

The last manager left the club in a mess. GP had a lot to do so let's all get behind him and Boehly, shatlre their vision with stability at the top of our priority list.

I for one have now made that word my favorite. My favorite club and my favorite word, under the leadership of TB and management of GP.

Aaaaaggggh. I'm ecstatic.

Those that say yes, I'd imagine you're talking about 1% of Chelsea fans

The scary part is that is genuinely how the British FC Pottersexuals talk on here, you missed the part where Tuchel had us playing the worst ever way ever for 6 league games though.
