Chelsea Youth is one of those follows I really enjoy on Twitter. Pretty nuanced takes regarding the club. Obviously more focused on youth, so there may be a little bias in that department. But, their thoughts on football and Chelsea in general are typically worth the follow.

Following now thanks. I am really pleased that Ben Roberts has come along as GK coach as well. I was advocating this in a post a couple of weeks ago I think.

He always said it from day 1 though.

It was in my opinion his biggest undoing in the transfer market as it meant he couldn't get players onside or even identify the right ones for him in the first place.

As much as I know there's not much talent available for the role right now and Graham P is well regarded (in my opinion a bit hyped due to being British), I think we should have held off changing manager until end of season at least.

And I say that as someone that feels TT has failed to get the best of players like Lukaku, Ziyech, CHO, Werner, Pulisic.......

Damn the list is getting long.

I am not sure there is any hype regarding his nationality.  In fact probably the reverse as no English manager has ever won the EPL

I don’t like to be too negative, but I can’t see this being any better than with Tuchel. If we stick with a back 3 then I think I’ll stop watching us play football.

Losing Cechs former mentor CL has not helped our keepers.

That would be the same Ben Robert's RDM smashed one over on 43 seconds in the 97 final right? 😉

A day for pause and reflection. A dramatic day for every single British subject. Surely virtually every member of the  British realm and commonwealth will remember exactly where they were and what they were doing on this momentous day, the day............Graham Potter was appointed Chelsea manager.

Yep, that's the one. One of the best goalkeeping coaches in the game

3 at the back wasn’t the issue. It’s the tactics.

We saw the same slow, lethargic, recycled possession play in a 433 and 424.

He will have to fix the centre of the park. I think Silva as good as he is will play less. The doubt about potter is can he win something. In terms of his record he is probably closer to Sarri than anyone.

Surely everyone will remember this day for something else, the day Liz went, .................to parliament for her first PMQ's

And we saw Tuchel waving them forward from the touchline and kicking off when they go backwards, we'll soon see if it was the players or the tactics.

He's got a huge slice of luck with the Queen biting the dust.

Could potentially have only have his first game in charge on the 1st of October.

Giving him plenty of time to get to know the players and spend some time with them on the training ground rather than being thrust into 3 quick fire games in a few days.

Exactly this. We could have had a 1D-9F formation and we'd still just pass it backwards.

Well welcome aboard Graham, wish him the best and hopefully he brings us some more success!

5 year deal doesn’t really mean much especially at Chelsea, but I guess there’s a degree of financial risk for the club to sack him early but I’m not delusional enough to think that would stop us.

Who knows maybe he’s the one to stop it? (Won’t hold my breath).

I also suspect this maybe the case his first game maybe against Crystal Palace.

They can't cancel football for a month surely, not this year, it will be impossible to catch back up with the WC in Nov/Dec.

Depends. If the matches are cancelled as in no results then no games to fit in. If they are postponed then thar could be tricky.

Uefa mau award 0-3 wins to each kd the English opponents this week if we don't play.

10, maybe 20 years ago that would have been likely. But reading around it now it's seems perhaps no football will be postponed.

I hope not but you can never tell when it comes to the Queen and peoples feelings.
