I also know there’s players like RLC, Pulisic and Havertz who haven’t got the desire or the skills to overturn a 2-0 deficit.

The back 3 shouldn’t even be a thing, it’s an horrible formation. His argument will be he is missing James, but he has Azpi who is better now as a FB. Even if he doesn’t want to play Azpi, he can be creative and play someone else as a RB. City & Arsenal have been using CBs as FBs all season.

2 own goals on Cahalobah and RLC.  But yes we are losing because of Havertz and Pulisic and Sterling.  They are the problem here.  Makes total sense.

Pulisic is at wing-back, he is playing in defense, not that you'd notice, since Chalobah is getting dismantled consistently and overrun.

This shouldve been the team. That starting 11 is something you would expect to see while you behind and you need a goal. Suicidal. Got away with it against villa and salzburg, but been totally punished today. 

 

Had a bad feeling about this match TBH.

Brighton we’re always gonna be extremely up for this match, as much as a match against Crystal Palace.

We’ve got players who can’t get themselves pumped up for a match against Arsenal so we had no hope really.

Pulisic and Sterling can't defend, they are getting in behind us between WB and CB every time.

They are also then too deep to do anything attacking. Sterling being the most useless of the 2 so far, though that's not saying much.

Just god awful tactics and formation. I can't see what we are trying to do, other than lose.

For all the Potter apologists: A great manager is not a manager who corrects his formation at half time -  a great manager is a manager that gets his formation right from the beginning.

What do you expect him to do? It takes time. You know the team we are playing today is due to the groundwork that Potter built at Brighton. Brighton play well now because of Potter and the signings that were made under his tenure. People acting like Potter is some subpar coach. He's come to a new club with a bunch of players he never signed, trying to make it work. Let's not act like more successful managers have not suffered equally or worse results at Chelsea against lesser sides.
