I don't think that Jorginho will be any good in the current context, in fact he would be critizised most of the time. Edited March 31, 20242 yr by Upb78

For Enzo to trully show his full ability it's important to give him more time and a better manager. Jorginho is a more niche type of a player that does some very particular things really well and since he's older he can focus on his strengths easier, a recent example of this was an interview of Ivan Toney (former gambling addict); Ivan Toney (former gambling addict), said that Jorginho has the best right foot in the league: "I was going to mention myself but I'd sound too big headed," he joked. "For vision, I'd say Jorginho or [Martin] Odegaard - their vision's good. Right foot, I'm gonna say Jorginho. "Footballing brain, I'd say [Kevin] De Bruyne. Heading ability, [Diogo] Jota for Liverpool, he's very good at heading. Strength wise, I'd say [Virgil] van Djik or Kurt Zouma - they're both strong. Left foot, Cole Palmer."
April 2, 20242 yr On top of the exhausting, yet again, international break. I don't know how he keeps going. The lad needs a rest. Edited April 2, 20242 yr by dermott
April 4, 20242 yr Saw a few glimpses of what people see in him tonight v Utd. If he can produce it in a winning team it’ll be interesting.
April 4, 20242 yr Played really well for most of the game. His passing range is different gravy. He sees passes other players don't. The less said about Caicedo tonight though, the better.

I'm one who feels he has not delivered for a while but tonight I thought he showed a class that we are missing throughout the squad bar Palmer.

The less said about Caicedo tonight though, the better. Caicedo tonight was possibly the worst performance I have seen from a midfielder for us all season. I'm sure Pochettino's coaching isn't helping, but he should be able to understand that if your partner is the furthest forward, you need to drop back a bit to protect from the counter. United were running at our CB's without any protection all game.

The less said about Caicedo tonight though, the better. He is a classy player. Bog perfomance tonight, and he will be a stellar player for us in the next 5 years. Just need to sort put what is going on around him. Caicedo absolutely shocking after that mistake. Not the 1st time either. Had some good games, but we paid the price for a prime Caicedo, but what we got is a very raw Caicedo that may take 5 years to hit his peak, and even if he does, it probably wont come close to justifying the price. Gallagher is just a very limited footballer, not cute enough or technical enough to receive the ball in between the lines and pick passes, which is what I think we need from that position.
April 4, 20242 yr Great partnership with Palmer, it's not the first time, they seem to understand eachother very well.
April 4, 20242 yr Enzo is a class player, in a better side it would be obvious to his biggest critics.

April 5, 20242 yr Can't say I saw anything more than a average performance myself. Noticed a few thought he was really poor in the match-thread but for me it was generally the standard Enzo performance. On the ball quite a bit and some nice passes here and there but never one to take the game by the scruff of the neck or to dominate the midfield and I figure most hoped for a bit more than the standard "nice and tidy" player when we bought him for the world record fee. And Caicedo obviously takes just as much blame for his but defensively they are both a mess and if they didn't have Gallagher in front of them to bail them out on occasion it would look even worse.
April 5, 20242 yr I see that there are still some people who still defend Mount by saying that he was pushed out of the club. But Enzo saw him at Chelsea during 6 months and saw his behaviour, just saying. Don’t think he would react like this if Mount was forced to leave.
April 6, 20242 yr Is this the same Judas boy you cheered in blue and who helped the club lift trophies... the toxicity in some folk on here is absurd.

April 6, 20242 yr Absolutely loved everything about his "fight" with Mount. In sports, it's always a bit of either you're with us or AGAINST us and that's what the present Mason represents, so kindly f**k off to your red home. We've been screaming for a player with his fiery personality PLUS the ability to make something happen. Can't see a reason to not enjoy his game, even though he's yet to show his best consistently. He probably won't have 15+ G/A each season, but is always pushing the team forward and I do hope his desire rub into his teammates and lead us to some glory in the next few years.

Dude, see JT's (captain, leader, legend) comments on Mounts exit, its a weirdo fanbase jumping on a player who was instrumental in us winning the second champions league... 😉 TBH, I thought it was classless what Enzo did what he did, I expect much better of Chelsea players. and whatever you say, id rather Mount in the starting 11 than Enzo but its done now and we have the "elite" 100 million quid Enzo driving the midfield on.

First time ive seen any fire in Enzo since he signed for us. Im still waiting for telling contributions. So far he has 3 goals and 3 assists which puts him on a par with Kovacic and Jorginho. Most fans were glad to see the back of those two
