Wasn't Mudders away from games due to illness? Maybe he had some drugs because of that.

He was tested positive after coming back from international duties with Ukraine. The substance is used to treat the elderly with ischemia.

And Chelsea-wingers with cant-hit-a-barn-doorschemia.

f**king hell, wtf is this? Athletes doping isn't uncommon but getting caught is annoying af.

Hope it's one of those contaminated substances rather than HRT or TRT or anything of that sort.

I'll back him until proven but can BlueCo just sell the guy? I'd rather the extra funds for FFP/PSR than this PR nightmare. This is the 2nd time he puts himself under the spotlight for something that's not related to football

You need a buyer in order to be a seller. And selling mudryk is bad for FFP not good.

Not a shock he's the one who gets tagged. He seems like the sort to be trying new things away from the club programme.

It's even worse if we terminate his contract immediately for this. We save money on wages but immediately take the hit on the books because we can't amortize his contracts anymore

If this is true I would suspect they want all the Ukrainian players tested as that would be some coincidence

He's probably got Asthma.  All the best athletes have asthma, you know that condition that gives you super human performance - lucky bastards.  Drugs probably related to that as usual.

They did test everyone. Mudryk got caught.

Bad headlines for sure - media will have a field day with this. Will wait for the facts before any thoughts on this - too many unknowns.

I don’t care about the media whatever we do they will be looking for negative headlines about us.

Just now, The Don Antonio said:

I hear it is produced in the Baltic region, and is also what was in Maria sharapovas system when she was suspended

Unless Mudryk has pre-existing heart conditions, in no way should he be using meldonium.Looking at its use its clear as day he was using it to improve overall fitness. Either he was badly advised or he knew what he was taking.

I think the club will sue the Ukraine FA.
