January 21, 20233 yr Our best chances have been from set-pieces. That might be our pathway to victory here since we seem to be struggling create an end product to our chances from open play.
January 21, 20233 yr It is not easy to get excited about this game. Both sides struggling with injuries and lost the chance to compete for good places in the league. The positive edge here is we get to see and play these young lads. Hopefully we'll see Mudryk as well. Anyway the result for me is sort of irrelevant. Sure, I'd love us to win but if we don't I don't lose sleep over it. This must be the feeling being Arsenal supporter for the last 15 years. Another positive here is I feel the squad understands Potter is here to stay and he will not be replaced after a string of bad results. Players can just concentrate on performing.

January 21, 20233 yr Just now, Valerie said: Just got in. Did I miss much or do rather we not talk about it? Poor quality, we've been slightly better than them. Havertz had a goal ruled out for a close offside after about 2 minutes.

January 21, 20233 yr I'm seeing signs of an improvement. We are winning the ball back higher up the pitch and Ziyech is finally having an impact. We need to score but Havertz doesn't inspire confidence. Perhaps Aubamayang can get on the end of a cross. Mudryk for Mount after 10mins if nothing happens. COYB!
January 21, 20233 yr 7 minutes ago, enigma said: Bit unfair. Mount has pressed hard when needed. A couple bad passes from him though. Havertz has played pretty well, but he has also missed opportunities with shots and poor passes. I honestly must have missed that then. I don't blame him for the technical mistakes as it happens (too often from our attacking line anyway) but all I saw from him today when the team lost the ball was half arsed challenges or not pressing as hard as he often does. 2nd half already looks a bit better though. The team on the other hand looks way worse
January 21, 20233 yr We're properly under the cosh, can barely get out of the defensive third. With zero pace in attack there's no way we can use that to our advantage.
January 21, 20233 yr Really shows that our first half wasn't all that impressive, Liverpool were just sh*t.
January 21, 20233 yr 12 minutes ago, Vialli96 said: Hall is a left winger/left back and has looked neat, tidy and threatening when he has played out there. He looks completely lost playing at CM…dont know why he is playing there when RLC and Chuk are on the bench. I agree. He has been given instructions to play there IMO. He can't get too far away from Jorginho as he won't be able to cover for him.
January 21, 20233 yr Haven’t even started this half. Havertz Mount Gallagher hall Jorginho all absent
January 21, 20233 yr This looks very similar to the Man City league game once they up it we can't live with it
January 21, 20233 yr Second half we are struggling need to do something here. Potter needs to earn his money. Think Hall needs help
