I don’t really think we are in the position to be passing judgement on the quality of the opposition when can’t even beat a mid table championship team with half  their players injured. They are still infinitely better than Middlesbrough.

    You can guarantee that if Alexander-Arnold was a Chelsea player, Pochettino would play him RW because he's not a good full back when defending.

    Based on what I learn in this forum, this does not matter. Just play player in their position and it just magically works.

    Maatsen isn't even the smallest fullback in the league. He should have been given at least a few games at left back to prove himself.

    I expect Tariq Lamptey is probably the smallest.

    This obsession with Maatsen at LB is baffling. 
     

    I like the kids but he’s not suited to this league at a top level team.
     

    And for the Lamptey  comparison, again Lamptey from what I have seen is stronger and quicker than him.

    Physicality is key and he hasn’t got it.
