Wow i understand what he means.

Like i said to him and i'm gonna say to you. Please explain HOW it will happen?

Clearly he is saying it won't, because Miracles don't really happen.

Clearly Miracles are not in present, not in our form. Yes in 2012-13 , but not NOW.

I can't understand why people talk about things that obviosly will not gonna happen.

more explanation

First off what happened to Dave was really worrying. That following what happened to Christian Atsu and thousands of other people in Turkey/Syria put things in to perspective.

Far as the game goes good to see Wesley Fofana finally back, he looked good for someone out for so long. Thought his namesake David looked a real livewire. His final choice was off but he looked like hencoild make things happen, so was disappointed he was hooked.

Though cannot argue the Sterling sub should have been rewarded, two chances that should have been goals. Do you credit to defenders or blame Sterling for not scoring? For me is both, and that plus his miscontrol from the diagonal pass sums him up.

Thought they showed a great battling spirit a d wanted it more than a lot of our players. That is very disappointing.

Biggest disappointment was Joao Felix. Not fight, terrible quality.

Well keep the faith. Walking in a Potter wonderland.

Potter  says you cant blame me I gave the boys a pep talk before they went out like i always do i fact there has only been twice that i have not done a talk before a match

Be Honest the bloke is bloody boring thats why interviewers dont ask questions  they fall asleep

Potter is the first chelsea manager i dont  tune in to hear what he has to say   as a true blue for over 50 years  its virtually impossible to stop me tuning into anything Chelsea related but POTTER  has achieved the impossible

I meant, all his shots were body targeted, don't get me wrong i think he played great and deserves to be a starter but his shots were not good.

Have to agree that someone with more composure would have done better. Same with his crosses and finding someone free. He tends to just cross into an area and hope to pick out someone. This is sometimes ok if you’re under pressure or no one free but he did it today and it was easily blocked and then a a few minutes later Kai was in a very similar position but looked up and picked out sterling who failed to score.
im sure sterling has some good points but atm finding it difficult to find them.

Thought David fofana was too much all for himself. A bit amateur really, talented but not a good performance in terms of bringing the rest of the team in.

felix was average. Mount did little. Etc. dissapointing.

He showed some promise but also plenty of inexperience. Not that surprising for a young striker. A more experienced striker would bring others into play. Then again he wasn't the only one. We look like a set of individuals right now rather than a team.

Did he look good in tight situations. Yep. Did he look strong on the ball. Yep. Did he hold the ball up. Yep. Did he look like he, (himself), wanted to score. Yep. Did he look a bit raw at times. Yep. Did he work hard. Yep. Did he look like an actual centre-forward. Yep. Did he look the best centre-forward option we have. Yep.

By some distance.

We were so bad it's laughable, but with what happened to Azpi in the game it's certainly not appropriate to laugh. We had to make some changes, if we couldn't get past Southampton without Silva, we have no excuses, and it's right we had no excuses, just beaten via a better team. I'd think players getting their chances would put up better effort, completely opposite, first half we were not there. All the hate on Havertz should take a step back, we were so awful without him, Fofana is still raw regardless how much potential he has, and the other 9 probably doesn't have boots on these days. There's no pattern in the way we attack, everything is being hopeful, and nobody is taking a punt from range, it's like we are working on the perfect team goal, which never come. Form doesn't lie, we been awful since that Wolves game ( whenever that was), all Southampton needed was motivation and work rate and they beat us. It's amazing we are 10th on the table, for a rich Brighton team in Potter's first reason the league table has been very kind.

I've been supportive of giving Potter time but sometimes you need to differentiate between what you think should happen and what is realistic. It's hard to see Potter surviving that result, and arguably he shouldn't after the past 15 games.

Just as I looked forward to us punting Jorginho I similarly look forward to us shipping out Kovavic. Never in his entire career have I considered him a top quality player and he won a watch with that transfer ban.

However there are many many reasons for the mess we are in just now. Not having a proven goalscorer being just one of them.

You know we are going to end up with Lukaku back don't you!

What ? TT's over priced " final piece of the jigsaw"  ?

To be fair the last time we hired a German with recent Champions' League final experience and with a reputation for being stubborn and hard to work with it turned out quite well for us.

True . No way would that German geezer lose to a team like Southampton. Oh wait ,,,..

I was meant to be going out tonight. I'm not now. That match has pissed me off far too much than it should.

I completely understand what you're saying. I went out and it's all I can think of right now...

I didn't have any complaints about the line up Potter picked, only a concern about Ben being overplayed so close to his return.

Otherwise the side made sense. Thiago himself said he does need time off now and again to recover, we don't want to overplay James and him get injured again, many wanted to see an Enzo and Kova pairing, many wanted DDF up front, Felix has played well every game just poor finishing against Dortmund, Mount always ups his game vs Southampton etc.

I don't see how that side lacked the professional pride to put a shift in, they we so out worked by Saints it was criminal and many should be docked pay. Only DDF and Chilwell, imo, put close to the effort required in that first half.

Where I disagree with Potter is his subs. DDF is raw but we take him off, when he was the only one to worry them in that first half, for Sterling and play Mount up front?

We have 5 subs, set a tone man that the performance, nevermind the scoreline, is not acceptable. You can show you mean business and say to Mount, Felix and Madueke what they produced was unacceptable.

Send on Sterling, Mudryk and Gallagher for those 3 and tell them you expect them to work. You know Gallagher will work even if he does not provide quality often enough.

Make that statement. Instead you made a statement that it was more important to give Wes a run out, and that working hard is punished and laziness is rewarded, when you took off DDF and left on Felix, Madueke and Mount.

You still have some patience from  some of us fans Graham, but you have to show the players that being lazy is not acceptable, otherwise those of us who are still supporting you will stop, and I think that will include the owners eventually too.

Step up man, or you will make it look like you are happy to take your pay off and go.

Depressing all round.

I've been as supportive as I could for Potter, while remaining sceptical of the long term project but you simply can't lose games like this. The opposition was in disarray without a coach and sitting on bottom of the ladder.

Very concerning and I don't know where we go from here. Sacking Potter is the easy part, but who replaces him at this point of the season?

I hope Azpi's okay. It was sickening watching him go down like that.

The options if we do it for me feel.

Flick on an Hiddink 2009 esque interim basis.

Luis Enrique.

Approach Stefano Pioli (AC Milan manager), he's recently ranted about how Serie A can't financially compete with the EPL.
