February 18, 20233 yr Yesterday thought we would win 3-0 and then the line up today and thought 1-1. Next up is Spurs think a loss against them and it is over for Potter.

Hopefully Azpi is going to be ok and that's the most important thing. P.S. Mudryk is completely useless and Enzo isn't much better. Enzo has been working his ass off tracking down the ball all over the pitch ever since he first started playing. The manager has to know how to use these players!
February 18, 20233 yr First af all, football is a good laugh & great entertainment (usually) but don't compare to Dave's wellbeing, I hope he's ok and the result although farkin pitiful means nowt compared to that How can Potter survive that ? Easy our owners wont take any action whatsoever that's how. We can all get hot under the collar until the cows come home but truth is now we are stuck with this dross until the summer and beyond, what a farkin mare !

AVB went from a very progressive attacking Porto team to a Chelsea on their last legs team that didn't suit his style whatsoever, so he didn't have it easy even though we did win the Champions League somehow. Lampard came into a very difficult season and did a very good job at first to get us into top 4 and a final, but even before he was sacked we were much better than this. He might actually be the worst gaffer we've had here. Worst in my life time bar none, and supported Chelsea since Hoddle was manager. He's clueless, and the worst thing he just doesn't seem to show any fight or passion.

February 18, 20233 yr Kepa - 6 - Maybe could have done better with the goal, made a good save in the second half. Azpi - 4 - Just can't do it anymore. Hope he is okay after than ridiculous overhead kick attempt. Badiashile - 6 - A rocky start, but sorted himself out afterwards. Koulibaly - 3 - sh*te, never want to see him in a Chelsea shirt again. Doesn't look at all interested. Chilwell - 6 - Decent in the first half, never got going in the second. Enzo - 4 - Worst game for us so far. Kovacic - 3 - Dreadful. Felix - 3 - Just as bad. Mount - 2 - Horrid Maduake - 5 - Runs a lot, but never looks in complete control of the ball Fofana - 6 - Looked decent, should never have been subbed off. Subs Sterling - 7 - Somebody that actually took some shots and had some intelligent football Fofana - 6 - Did well every time Southampton tried to counter us. Havertz - 5 - Not good enough. Mudryk - 5 - The game was too scrappy after he came on, it was desperation time. Gallagher - 5 - Same as Mudryk Chalobah - 5 - Same again.

February 18, 20233 yr This is just embarassing, beaten by bottom of the table at home looking like a true midtable club managed by a midtable, clueless manager. What a clownfest this is, probably the only manager in the history of football to make the team worse after getting the biggest backing a club has had in a single transfer window.
February 18, 20233 yr Who can tell me why Silva and James were both left out of the squad today ??? Is it mutiny ??

I was dreading the world cup break. The last thing this squad needed was more time working with Graham Potter. The longer every player works with Potter the worse they get. February 18, 20233 yr He needs to go tonight. This cannot and shouldn't go on. Under Roman this would be addressed
February 18, 20233 yr Potter just might be thankful that the post match presser will no doubt be focused on Dave's condition rather than the shocking performance we have just had to endure for 104 minutes. Leeds at home next week where I can see nothing but disaster again. So much for the emotional and mental coaching...seems to be working wonders. Said it many times, you can't bring in an inexperienced coach / manager to manage such a huge project. You wouldn't do it building a skyscraper or it would collapse or not even get off the ground....exactly what we are witnessing. I just hope Todd and Clearlake take the financial hit, pay Potter off and start again with an experienced manager befitting of this club and its history.
February 18, 20233 yr Shambles. The first half was absolutely astonishingly bad. This is a team that has won 2 in 14 and this is what they serve. Whenever there’s a lack of intensity and will to win the question should 100% be asked of the of the manager. One just can’t defend Potter anymore. Dross. It’s taken the club just a month to turn a load of quality players into sh*t. I can’t see us winning any game which means we are in REAL danger of relegation. This f&cking serious all around. This is not a bad period anymore. This is a group of players without any belief “in the process” at all. Potter needs to go.

He might actually be the worst gaffer we've had here. Sarri was the worst for me. Some of the football was truly appalling and so were many of the results after a reasonable start. Players not committed forward in numbers, constantly over playing in midfield, slow, slow tempo. The media reporting players were totally confused by his tactics and training drills. And the man himself had all the charisma and charm of road kill.
February 18, 20233 yr I've been supportive of giving Potter time but sometimes you need to differentiate between what you think should happen and what is realistic. It's hard to see Potter surviving that result, and arguably he shouldn't after the past 15 games. Just as I looked forward to us punting Jorginho I similarly look forward to us shipping out Kovavic. Never in his entire career have I considered him a top quality player and he won a watch with that transfer ban. However there are many many reasons for the mess we are in just now. Not having a proven goalscorer being just one of them. You know we are going to end up with Lukaku back don't you!

His performances with the German national team were disappointing as well. To be fair the last time we hired a German with recent Champions' League final experience and with a reputation for being stubborn and hard to work with it turned out quite well for us.
