Control the midfield, use mudryks pace to push them back, leave room for James, Enzo and Chiwell to get at them.

That is a team I would expect us to play if we were 1-0 in front. We are behind. Looks way too defensive too me. If Potter actually selected this kind of team, I think Boehly would intervene himself.

Sky Bet: Joao Felix to score first and Chelsea to win 2-0 in 90mins - Was 50/1 NOW 66/1
Not a betting man, but that seems it might be a chance

Chelsea will be without Thiago Silva, Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante, Cesar Azpilicueta, Edouard Mendy and Armando Broja.

Reece James should be back.

Captain America is back in contention.

Did you know? Kai’s been the designated penalty taker in the absence of Jorgi.

We're on a roll......everyone steps up and we win the game.  Hopefully GP has learned his lesson from the first game and the momentum from Leeds carry's over............I then I woke up.

Start fast, keep the momentum going, play 3 in the middle and might actually stand a chance and squeaking through...lose and not play well, just might change Todd's thoughts about Mr Potter.   Lose and dominate, hit a few posts and a bar, a couple of dodgy VAR call and Todd will have a headache.

So, eight or nine changes to keep the boys fresh for the trip up to Leicester at the weekend?

I hope not.

I just hope they take a leaf out of the Pool's book and try and play with the mentality they'd played with against Utd for more than the opening 20-25 minutes.

Well it cannot be an unchanged side. Maybe Badiashile should have been picked over Mudryk.

Felix that has 1 goal & 1 assist in his last 14 appearances in the CL. Potter needs to keep him away from the starting lineup. He has no fight and doesn’t press, 2 qualities we will need tonight.
If Mount isn’t fit, I’d rather go down fighting with either Murdyk or Pulisic. He just needs to get the players fired up. I would be pissed if either Ziyech or Felix start this match.

Potter at the presser ...' I think the players can win' ...I'd like to hear 'I am confident we can turn it around' .....Felix 'If we do the things right we will win'

Potter - ..'It's a special occasion for the club'   News flash Graham...we've won the f**king thing twice, been to another final and 90% of the time go deep into the competition....until you came along anyway.

Felix 'I'm here to win..the Champions League is a special competition..I love playing in the competition' I'm here to win trophies'

Potter - 'Its a big game, an exciting game, it will be wonderful...

Tells you that Potter has never won anything worth winning in his entire career, never been to these dizzy heights....blimey Todd you really did screw up picking this winner....

We will win tonight, if we keep the pressure and intensity up for 90 mins -

I'm not sure any of our new signings have shown anything much yet. Felix looks the best of the bunch, but doesn't seem to work very hard off of the ball. I'd go with:

Kepa

Fofana

Koulibaly

Chalobah

James

RLC

Enzo

Chilly

Mount

Havertz

Felix/Sterling/Pulisic

Honestly, I'm as frustrated with Havertz as everyone else, but I don't see much choice with who else to play.

I think, given our lack of goals, it would be a mistake to play a back 5 plus 3 midgets. But we looked a lot better with Chilly at LWB, so hoping James can offer the same improvement at RWB.
