Even ignoring his lack of character if we're stupid enough to bring him into a high pressing system for a second time we deserve everything we get.

Given what he takes out of the team in general play my expectations are Haaland goal figures (including a healthy tally in big games) and leading us to the title as a minimum requirement if we're going to be this stupid.

Not ruled out the possibility of a return?

We don't have much choice in the matter unless some other club is daft enough to take a punt on him. 

He is our player and is coming back whether we like it or not.

Like it or not Lukaku is the best striker we have. Can’t see anyone giving a decent fee for him so I see him back with us. Don’t think we can sign anyone else  for a reasonable fee who would want to come.

If he got back in shape he’d definitely get us 15+ a season. We would lose out on other parts of our play though but we’d have a proper No.9 which I’d prefer to that false 9 sh*t. The thought of Kai faffing about up front for another season does my head in.

I know this performance might be a one off but there is a striker on loan at Girona who accomplished something today that the entire CFC squad couldn't do over two legs of the CL quarterfinal and that is score. The on-loan NYC player, Valentin Castellanos scored four in Girona's 4-2 win over Madrid today. And he might come cheap!!! The Bridge has been a graveyard for high-priced strikers so perhaps a lower-priced true No. 9 would work. Who the hell knows after this season.

Jonathan David would be a good option.

Why your expectations of him have to be that high? We paid all more for Enzo, Muedriek, Sterling, … 

en we end up not scoring more then 8 goals even against the smaller team. We are 11th on the table. I think you must be loving this ***show we are producing every week with Havert as 9. Now we to hope to score a goal instead of winning a game.

Last time i checked, Lille never sell cheap.

last striker they sold to Napoli was 80 mil up. With the current market I expecting them to ask min 120+ .

and we need some experience in the team too. It can’t all be Talents.

You've spent the last year telling me how great he is, don't moan about me holding him to such standards.

In a perverse way however I will be looking forward for you somehow finding a way to blame Enzo when Rom trips over the ball and sends it out for an opposition throw in.

Not sure who scores the goals, it's clear though we aren't scoring enough and this is the fault of the team overall. The graphic below says it all, it ain't good enough and all members of the team are responsible.

 

I think we should go for Haaland. He seems to be doing okay in City. So Haaland for me.

Nkunku will score. I don’t get the comparison with Timo tbh. Nkunku is a far better player.

Nkunku has only made sub appearances since his return from injury, which is a bit of a worry ...
