I like our own young prodigy Broja but he is not ready to lead the line all by himself. I hope we see a big finisher rather than someone in the profile of small and or fluid. Nkunku is that but hopefully our next manager has an idea how to utilize him.

Best strikers in the world are basically tall. Lewa, Kane, Haaland. Osimhen isn't small a guy either.

We will let Felix go back for sure. Kai we will hold onto I predict. We know what he brings to the game.

I’m going to predict Havertz and Felix swap.

There, I’ve said it.

Swap Havertz for one of the few players more useless and more expensive than him in world football? Yup sounds like something Todd and co would do.

Just make it a front 3 of Lukaku, Felix and Sterling. Won't find a more useless and expensive group thant that ever as a front 3.

Oh I wish we signed Haaland. I have nothing bad to say about him which is unusual for a striker who scores that many, he’s such a likeable character.

Usually top strikers would have flaws, Costa being Costa, Aguero a dirty c*nt, Ronaldo ego maniac, bitey Suarez, Shearer who loves a good elbow, Haaland I can’t really think of a bad thing about him which is a huge credit to him tbf.

We should have put an extra 100m on top instead of signing bloody Lukaku.

Could go on to break every record there is for a striker. Literally doesn't have any weaknesses. He's a frickin giant, strong as an Ox, with the speed of Linford Christie. Left foot, right foot, in the air, makes no difference to him. Can make openings out of nothing, fantastic hold up play and cool as a cucumber in front of goal.

So glad he is ugly as f**k.

I was watching him in the Arsenal game whilst watching our debacle too. He looked to be in 'beast ' mode. So physically imposing, he has the ability to both be totally involved in some games whilst appearing quiet in others but deadly when the chance arrives. Always makes the runs, gambles, he is the complete forward.

I'm as mad about the Lukaku signing as anyone but it was pretty obvious Haaland had no interest in signing for us.

Said it before, we should have held our nerve and carried on with what we had at the want of a suitable option, a mistake that is potentially going to hold us back another 3 years.

And it would have been 300m flop.

Haaland touched the ball 7 times in a game, city is destroying their opp. Heck the stat that @Sexyfootballposted is even crazier

For us especially undet Tuchel, if our st touch the ball only 7 times, our whole offense didn't work.

People don’t understand is that with Tuchel system not a lot of forwards will work out. Haaland would have failed too with Reece and Ben injured there is no creativity left in the team. How many time i see players making runs in behind Auba, Lukaku, Broja and Sterling but no one want to pass to them. After some time they stop doing these run and getting worse.

and then the forward wingers Pulisic , Odoi and Mason can’t dribble pass their opponents.

even Sadio Mane don’t work out in Tuchel system @ Bayern .Sadio scores a lot of goals overhere so he is not bad of a player.

Looking at last season's table ONLY NORWICH scored less than 34 goals, last year. We aren't hitting that number this year. It's absolutely staggering.

I think we are stuck with Lukaku and Havertz, next year. It's a reality we need to accept. I still think Broja will be decent when he returns to fitness.

That's funny because I remember Mount putting two sitters on a plate for him against Spurs and him squandering both.

And if it weren't for Callum's assists to him his Chelsea career would look worse than it already does.

Mane had already lost his form before Tuchel even arrived.

I'm still mad we sold Tammy

Selling Tammy is one thing. Replacing him with Lukaku is another. Tammy has been pretty poor this season in Serie A as well. Not sure why but he seems to have regressed from the previous season which is weird considering his age and how he should keep getting better.

Evan Ferguson. He already has a thread here so that would save us the bother.

Proper no. 9. Has just signed a new contract at Brighton which can sometimes be a come and get me. We should buy him now before we can't afford him.

If it makes you feel any better, he's having a pretty poor time for Roma this season ... the Italian press are really on his back, and Jose has been picking Belotti ahead of him recently.

Tammy in 22/23 8 goals in 2,596 minutes across 45 appearances  (31 starts +14 as sub).

He might be our academy boy, but he's not the answer.

I remember in the April of 2021 (when we were allowed to start playing football again in the "lockdown roadmap") my Liverpool supporting 6 a side teammate was moaning even back then about Mane and comparing his form to the United version of Alexis Sanchez.

And he couldn't have been happier a year on when they signed Luis Diaz for his position.

Maybe not, but I'd have bitten your hand off for him this season

Certainly impressed this year and only 18. Can’t see Chelsea buying someone so young and inexperienced to lead the line and will probably stick with Broja at 21. Ferguson looks the better player of the two but I wonder how much that had to do with the absolute sh*t we’ve been playing.

I’d be all for bringing Ferguson in.

No ST will come here and thrive so long as there is no environment to do so.

The recrutiment team need to identify a ST that both understands the way Pochettino plays, along with how well they will complement playing alongside the likes of Nkunku, Mudryk, Enzo and the full backs.

🚨 Jonathan David is expected to leave Lille this summer; he is attracting interest from Chelsea and a host of other clubs. He is rated at €65 million.#CFC
