April 15, 20233 yr we're getting absolutely battered 30% possession 3 attempts to their 20 at the Bridge.......

The team was already flourishing. Hence Todd Boehly reading some newspaper headline and deciding to sign the manager. Chelsea will flourish if you give a manager time (years) to work with the team. Until then, you will win nothing bar the odd Carabao/FA cup.

April 15, 20233 yr The only time in recent memory remember us being this dominated is when Bayern played at the Bridge couple of years ago with Lampard in charge.

This Brighton team never played as well as this season, meaning they never reached this level under potter, and no team ever will. We won everything with multiple managers, potter won nothing.
April 15, 20233 yr Gallagher of all people dropping deep to pick up the ball is really a sign that our buildup is working properly...
April 15, 20233 yr Ziyech has done more in 5 mins than what Pulisic, Mudryk and Sterling did in 60 mins.

The one little bit of comfort you can draw is that Aubameyang must look every bit as sh*te and old on the training ground as has done in the rare occasions he has been picked. We probably should have gone for Welbeck.

How long was it from Tuchels appointment to CL winners?

Did you see us rip apart villa and have 29 shots (where we should have scored 4), did you see the earlier results in the champions league, particularly against Milan? There WERE signs of improvement if people chose to see them. Admittedly there was not a significant improvement in results - but As I said 5000 times, it was always going to take time. It was a decent performance against Dortmund, I'll give you that, but the Villa performance? Give me a break, defensively we were a shambles. If both teams take their chances, it's a 3-3 draw. Potter's lineup that day was like he was asking to be sacked. Almost every league game was terrible, same goes for the two cup games against City. City are a good team, but they didn't even need to field their strongest team and they brushed us off like we were nothing.
