April 15, 20233 yr Chalobah was shocking but I don`t see who else can play RB. James would get outplayed just as much considering how out of form he is. Badiashile also looked poor. Sterling was horrible as well. f**k it ... most of them were garbage apart from Kepa and Mudryk when he got the ball.

The response Lampard gave in the press conference he knew he was Cordons appointment. What a fn joke, Cordons been Boehlys advisor all along. Embarrassing. We might as well try James Corden in the dugout next, can't be too much worse than this

Much as Lampard will always be a legend to us, that is as a player. It was pretty universal across the whole fan base that we didn't want Frank reappointed, simply because we all know he us not good enough.

You are asking lampard to do something in two games that hasn't been done all season with this team of players. Unlikely. Then why bring him in it was pointless. And it’s not the players anymore because Brighton does not have better players then us, just better coaching and organisation. I wanted Potter to gone but that was with the thought of the board having a clue which now clearly they don’t. If the plan was to replace Potter with Lampard keep Potter.

April 15, 20233 yr Frank has taken a team that looked organized, but underperformed, and turned them into a team with zero organization. Love Lamps, but he has no business on the touch line. We look worse than his Everton.

They should be out of sight but for some bars, misses and wondersaves. They had all 10 players in our half for most of the game. Zero respect shown. Fortress Stamford Bridge?
April 15, 20233 yr Lot's of people are confused how to fix this. It is so easy, bring on Kante and James and we will be much better.
April 15, 20233 yr reminds me of those tough games against Barcelona or Bayern where you have to just hang in there and feed off scraps. Could be 4 or 5 down, and it will be an absolute miracle if we get anything from this. Mitoma is killing us on one side, March on the other, and the minute we try and make a pass or 2, Caicedo is on us like a rash. De Zerbi has taken them to another level. At least we scored though.

April 15, 20233 yr If Lampard doesn't make any changes for second half to make us less exposed and played like knife through butter he should probably not be even an interim coach. Should just turn to TV pundit to join Neville and that Jammie liverpool dude.
April 15, 20233 yr Personally think this is nothing to do with the players. We are getting outclassed by a well coached team. It’s modern football in a nutshell, it’s more about coaching than individual personalities and brilliance. If you are constantly booting it up the pitch trying to get out and break the press then that’s on the coaching. Playing for the badge and putting effort in is nonsense. Young players need clear instructions and they need to be coached on how to deal with different phases of play.

This is what we were aiming for under Potter (who let's not forget built the foundation for the current Brighton team). Unfortunately- short term charlie's couldn't be patient, and new money discontent grew so we chucked out that plan - and are currently starting yet again Had same feeling re villa when I watched
