It’s just a reminder the size of the challenge and mess at the club that we still rely on Ziyech off the bench. All that Jan talent just wasting away

well he's still a chelsea player and paid a lot to play for thte club

Teams score with their first attempt against us 91.3% of the time.

(This stat is based on nothing but watching us this season).

Based on watching us this season, we must underperform our expected goals figure by more than any other team.

And then I see this tweet (paid advert, in fact) from the Athletic, confirming that my made-up stats are borne out by reality (at least 87% of the time):

Meh, could have been worse and we lost the game instead. Doubt we'll get another point in the final 3 games.

Only 3 games left until this nightmare of a season ends.

Unless it's a recurring nightmare 😝

Don’t know what Lampard was doing today. I don’t think he does either. Bizarre selection, tactics, subs. None of it made sense.

Really thought we’d hit rock bottom with Potter. Then we appointed Lampard and we’ve actually become much worse.

I just hope the players aren’t too demoralised by being subjected to Frank’s inept management. The sooner Pochettino takes over the better for all concerned.

Ok, Bring On Ziyech Who Was Basically Out The Door In Jan And Who'll Be Gone In The Summer To Leave Mudryk On The Bench, Fair Enough Lampard I Don't Have Credentials To Be A Manager, Same As You By Half The Decisions You Make

Although I was never a fan of Jorginho, is it possible that we have got worse since/because he left?

I personally don't think so, Jorginho didnt contribute to any of the areas we are struggling in aka our attack and defence. All he did was recycle possession.

Another embarrassing performance, think last week was a fluke, and the manager and players couldn't wait to bring us back to reality. Unless Kepa was injured, a ridiculous decision to recall Mendy, and it clearly showed with the gift of a goal, completely lack of authority in the box, and unable to give the defenders any confidence). Defence was a disaster on top of the Mendy issue, could have conceded 2 or 3 before the come back in the second half. After we got the lead, immediately handed back as usual, and never had the desire to push on for the win after that. With all due respect to Lampard the club legend, his decision making since he took over was just bizarre and confusing, it looks like we are trying something new every game, just for the fun of it. Players still look like they never played with each other before with 3 games to go, again it's not helping with constant changes. Felix should go when the season ends, Kovacic too if there's a decent offer, may be better for Silva to play his last season or 2 at  Brazil, it's not fun to watch a legend to get run around by nobody players in this chaotic team. Sterling reminded us he's still alive, maybe he will get to double figure on the last day, just to keep par with Lukaku.

Oh those were some terrible subs. Why have DD Fofana, an actual striker, on the bench and use Havertz. Deary me Frank.

Dogsh*t defending, thar Forrest striker murder Badiashile. Mendy is what he is, no surprises both goals are his fault.

At least Sterling bothered to show up for a change.

Forrest were awful, hoof ball in to the box and hey why not, it worked twice. Not PL standard but neither are we and we let them off the hook cause they were rubbish.

Dreadful performance... as I have said before:

Let's focus on getting 1) a striker who can put ball in net and 2) a goalie who can keep ball out of net.

And after that, if we haven't got a replacement for Silva lined up already 3) a center back to marshal the defence.

But I'm sure our priority will be buying some spotty 15 year old midfielder... with massive potential...

Possibly. But I think it’s more to do with Lampard being appointed.

 A lot of strange analysis.

Before

1. Mendy shoud not play. What is wrong playing Mendy? It is not like Kepa is our future.

2. Kova

This is the one that is confusing. I said it before the game, should have played Ruben instead of Kova.

3. Hall

Young player struggling, normal stuff.

4. Ziyech

I thought he played quite well when he came on.

5. Murdyk

He didn't play well last week, Sterling came on had an assist and scored today so?

Biggest takeaway from this game, unless we sign mbappe no more nonsense of Kai or Felix as 9. No more I want my st to make overlapping run for winger.

For some of you who said Fofana, Fofana debut was one the rawest perfomance I have seen playing for us in years. Even more raw than some of our academy player.

I can't understand the starting line ups - there is absolutely no consistency. None of the players must know where they'll be come match day. I honestly expected a degree of stability to return with Frank but its been the opposite. The sooner this season ends the better. I have started to see Leeds being relegated as my main hope for the last 2/3 games. That will be a successful season for me..

Thought the changes to last week were really stupid. I've been one of Kova's biggest supporters and admire his play greatly but he has been terrible since the world cup either due to injury or not caring or both. I think mostly injury but who knows.

Felix is either good enough to start most weeks or he isn't. Picking him one week and then not the next week is beyond dumb. Moving Sterling from 11 to 9 equally dumb and coupling him with Felix was never going to work.

Lewis Hall is good going forward but defensively he is pretty much useless at LWB at the moment. On the other hand Chalobah did pretty well. Gallagher is on the left one week then the right the next week.

One of the things I have read about modern coaching is that you try to form cells of 2-3 players so that each of the group knows what the other one is doing and they play as an integrated unit. When you not only switch out the players but also where they play all the time there is no chance of developing that team work.

As well as not having a striker we don't have a captain. Where is the roy keane or john terry or I dont know nobby styles that holds the whole thing together. More character is needed.

Frank as a player was an absolute legend as a coach it doesn't work. That said does it matter? this season is so dead. And yet I will be watching the next game hoping that somehow while I sleep this sorry assed bunch of pickup players can transform themselves into a competitive team with character.

Just watched the highlights, what a joke drawing against this load of no-hopers. Worst away team in the league and we can't even scrape a win. Lampard is never going to be a successful manager, he can't set up a defence to save his life.

Mudryk not getting any minutes is mystifying and to prioritise a loanee with no end product and bring on Ziyech, guys who won’t be here next season instead is just abysmal stuff; beyond a joke.

Funnily enough Ziyech got an assist last time out.

I still expect him to go though.

Our form just now is like a mid table club that know they are safe and have nothing to play for.

Not all are playing like that yet some are.
