what happens when Delap is fit to play again and he has to play second fiddle to a high scoring Jacko ? Do we loan Delap out ??

Sell in January or he continues to compete with Delap.

Delap is fine and has been told to keep his head down until we force bayern to buy Jackson outright for fear of losing him as a loan. Nico is on board and playing his part smiling in the back of the people carrier.😎

Jackson trained with the first team this whole time so he could be reintegrated if no move. He was never frozen. He wished to move because he did not want to compete and the club authorized his wishes. Now we are a striker short we no longer wish to authorize the loan.

I get that you're American and therefore don't get subtlety but the club stating straight after the CWC that they were not looking to sell Jackson but would listen to offers was effectively telling him that his time is done. The fact that random messages coming out from the club and from his camp, unprovoked, was a subtle way of highlighting that all things were not right behind the scenes, until the message eventually surfaced that his relationship with the club was now broken and he was looking at other opportunities.

The fact he has done this and then we've backed out of it, he is absolutely going to be full of piss and vinegar on the training ground now.

Watch out, he’ll start calling you xenophobic and crying to the moderators.

While I feel sorry for Jackson after what happened today, I think I’m right in saying he wasn’t told to leave like some we have tried to get rid of. He didn’t fancy fighting Delap and Pedro for top striker spot.

Bayern deal on hold rather off at the moment.

Maybe club are using this as a bargaining chip to get a permanent deal out of Bayern?

Wouldn't be surprised if we get Jackson gone permanently, or an obligation, if we then move to get Emegha from Strasbourg and then sell Datro Fofana to them to take his place. Already linked with bringing Emegha in anyway.

If you live in a glass house…. Not smart to throw stones, friend.

I'm actually glad the Barcodes have finally managed to sign a striker at last. Next on their list, (before Jackson), was Sharon Bannister who does the trolley collections at our local Aldi and plays up front for Victorious Secret FC on Sunday mornings in the local women's league.

Here we go... @FabrizioRomano is reporting that our Phenomenal Directors have approached Aldi and are in talks with Sharon's agent, Karen Tattershall who works part-time on the fish counter in Bingley. Chelsea have made an offer of £40k a week and a 12 year contract. Newcastle's loss is our gain.

Phenomenal.

If you thought Jackson was bad before now imagine him playing whilst pissed at the club.

Honestly he seems to have had a stick up his backside for a good few months. The red cards and missed sitters are a taster of what's to come if he stays and stinks up the dressing room.

This guy ain't Chalobah, he's not a professional like that. He needs to go.

Somehow I don’t think Jackson is going to come back with a smile on his face, knuckle down, and set out to prove his doubters wrong. I may be wrong but the boy is likely to hold a grudge, be pissed at everyone, and not really give a f**k. It’s going to be one long soap opera I fear. And it’s going to dominate the media and our season is going to be all about Jackson. As I said, I hope I’m wrong…
