Really don't want to be critical of anyone after such a great game and very good team performance, but I was disappointed with Enzo and Caicedo. Enzo was good going forward but he lost possession a fair few times and was rather sloppy. Caicedo just doesn't do enough IMO. Expected him to boss games byt he seems happy to play second fiddle to Gallagher who has been the absolute pick of our midfielders this season.

I agree with Enzo, but don't get the criticism of Caicedo. He was all over the city midfield, Rodri never has time on the ball, he was stationed on him. When we went forward he held back to cover transitions, I don't think he was expected to play forward. It was a very Kante'esque performance.

1st is the ref, never a penalty.

2nd looked like Silva or Enzo left their man wide open.

3rd I'd blame Poch for not sorting Cucurella being isolated, though I think it was his only mistake.

4th was a massive deflection after we'd defending their break well, just really bad luck.

Thank you again. When I have seen the game I will watch it later and see.

Gone up against the league leaders two weeks in a row and put FOUR past them on each occasion.

Absolutely huge for the confidence.

Well done Poch and Team.

Without getting too carried away, this squad definitely has the potential to make Top 4 this season.

I've just realised that, we've scored 8 goals against Tottenham and City.

That's probably half of our goals this season scored.

if you read all the comment about that GREAT CHELSEA PERFORMANCE  so many fans have slagged off these players...  sterling - jackson - thiago - palmer - cucurall - caceido - enzo - disasi - etc etc   its a joke . cucu made some mistakes yes as all players do in 90 mins .but every player played a blinder , fighting every ball , fighting as a team . and remember  city penalty haarland pulled cucu back to get in front of him ,NO PENALTY. their 4th goal was just luck going theier way.

Is it true Nkunku is back after the international break and will Palmer still be on pens? He seems to be a good penalty taker don’t really want to mess it up by swapping it about.  Also should I put Palmer in my fantasy team?

Plus he's too ugly to deserve a penalty, I'm sure there is a rule saying so

To be fair to Haaland he is a top bloke. His reaction to Palmer eavesdropping on tactics says it all really. Im so gutted we couldn’t get him!

Outstanding performance. Especially in attack. Nice to get a point which finally feels like a win. Palmer, Sterling very good. Gallagher too but as a whole the team cohesion attacking was brilliant to watch. Was impressed with how Cucurella held himself after picking that yellow. I understand why Palmer got MOTM but Sterling should have got it. He was definitely the best player on the pitch. All game he was sensational. He has nothing to prove to that idiot Southgate. I was worried when they went 3-2 up as it looked like they were going to pick us off on the counter but we held firm and kept going. Proud of my team tonight!

I imagine the pens are Palmer's indefiently now unless he f**ks up multiple ones in quick succession.

Thankgod we have stumbled across another reliable taker, this season atleast until Christo was back was lining upto be the first one without one for decades until Palmer (literally) stepped up.

I couldn't watch, I was hovering in the doorway, convinced the pressure would get to him. But no. What a player.

I did exactly the same. I kind of watched through the narrow gap at the hinged side of the door.

Confidence is massive in football and there’s no doubt we were suffering earlier in the season. When confidence rises the tempo of the game normally rises too. If we play with the tempo of today against teams like Forest, Brentford etc then we likely win these games.

We are definitely getting there we have the correct manager for the project.

Champions League qualification isn’t out of the question this season. We are more than capable of stringing 6 or 7 wins together if we play anywhere close to today’s performance.

This is kind of the issue we need to find a solution for. It’s the sides listed that play that deep ultra defensive game and pick us off with just one or two attacks. We need to do whatever it is that Liverpool did against Brentford today.

Yes, even if we go down to 5. It's who we are, mate.

Amazes me how people big up Ange for that naive view of football.

It's almost like cutting off your fingers to spite your hand.

Just hearing that, I don't need to know Spurs or Ange won't be winners in the long run of anything significant. Except, he adapts.

Back from the game and all I can say is “oh, what a night!”. What a game of football, bonkers both teams. Proud of the Chelsea team today, they came out to play, got a deserved draw and in style. Also kudos to the City team and fans, they helped making it a thoroughly enjoyable game. We sang at them and they sang back at us. They gave it large to us when they scored, and we gave it back doubled when we scored. When we went down 2-3 I thought City was going to go and win it by more, we were so asleep at the start of the second half! But they players got back in and managed to play at a high intensity to the end to get the equalising penalty. I’ve aged like 10 years in this game…

On the downside, what is that c**t Taylor doing refereeing a Chelsea game, and least of all against another Manchester team? Didn’t he get demoted like a week ago or so? Hasn’t he already shown how incompetent he is, and how biased he is against Chelsea enough times? Two calls I need to view as I was in the shed end and they happened in the MH end, the first penalty on Haaland, which came out of nowhere, and a possible hand ball insistently called by the MH fans in the second half towards the end.

Not really doubting Chelsea against the so called big sides. Banged my head and thought we'd get a result. If you can't get up for these fixtures you shouldn't be playing top tier football. It's the teams around us we're currently having a mare against. We need to put away the Brentfords of this world who have a jinx on us. Bournemouth before them too. Start beating these sides and top four could be up for grabs. Still think it's too early for us to be back up there this season but fingers crossed. It would give meaning to Tuesday and Wednesday nights again.... great past two results.

Really enjoyed the game.

Chelsea showed character today and in this young team an ethos is being forged that will carry us further.

On top of that we scored four goals against a very strong defence when Rodri played in midfield. In fact we gave Rodri a good run around. A great team performance with moments of quality from everyone bar maybe Enzo who looks tired. Jackson even looked the part.

Mainly it's scoring the goals that's exciting after more than a season of rarely scoring to get whatever 9 in two games is over the moon. Top 4 still looks a way off but on this form no-one will want to play us.
