reece nearly cost us big there. idiot. out all that time, supported constasntly by the club and the fans, and does something like that.

performance was poor mostly as well. you cant tell me we've turned a corner. we're still palmer fc

Not the first time, he used to have a habit of giving away free kicks in the danger area at RB and they used to cost us.

Of course he can be exceptionally good going forward.

Would be optimistic if Spurs played literally any other team than Sheffield United. Then again, it's Spurs so you never know. 😂

They bottled 2nd place by losing to relegated Newcastle 5-1 in 2016. It's not impossible.

it was stupid from James but we finally answered when Sterling, Caisedo and James were done having it. that was the hardest match this season and we finally shown the f**king balls

Let’s hope Sheffield United can put up a performance..or City aren’t too drunk for the final.

Pep won't let City not be at least 80% for that which I think beats United.

I'd like to mention a point about Nico Jackson.

Its too easy to say he's cr@p, he's this, he's that, doesn't lift his head, no awareness, etc. But he clearly isn't cr@p, look at the goals he's scored, look at the chances that he has had, his touch, etc.

So i think there is definitely a place for him, but as many have said just not leading the line and tonight was a good example of it. When we are under the cosh, which will always happen at times during matches, we need a target man that holds the ball up and that gets into the opposition faces. This guy just cannot do it. He has very little physicality and no real aerial presence. The ball would stick to Drogba, hey the ball would stick to Lukaku. Both knew how to use their strength and body and could leave the ground in front of a defender and occupy space.

Because Jackson doesn't have aerial presence he has little confidence in commanding space when he leaves the ground. Its not just about heading the ball, its not even about chest trapping, but it is about leaping into space and having enough of an intimidating presence to either win the ball, draw a foul or just having the defender back off in order to help us gain possession. Jackson's lack of craft in this aspect of forward play means the ball is just recycled and comes back at us in waves of attacks.

Whilst the money is silly and we probably don't have it, dare i say but Osimhen does look like he possesses that aerial presence and strength.

Drink it in 🍺🍻🍷🍾🥂 Ladies & Gents clubs won 4 on the bounce in the hardest league on the 🌍

We have a fighting chance at 6th place, my target back in August. I’ve been a harsh critic of the clubs ownership, 1st team coaching team and a lot of the players, especially Coocoorella and Wacko Jacko. Let’s see if the lads can put the 🍒  on top of the cake on Sunday!

So just a draw needed to seal 6th spot. If Spurs were not playing anyone but Sheffield United I would feel confident about them making a cock up, but playing the worst team in league but with Spurs you never know. Anyway if we seal 6th and City beat United and we get Europa, that would really leave a smile on faces for what looked like a real awful season. I think that must be the first time in 3 seasons that we have won 4 on the trot. Good to see. Assuming we don't lose to Bournemouth, I will be the biggest City fan for the FA Cup Final. The difference between Europa and ECL is big.

But credit to Poch and the boys for how we have picked ourselves up since that Arsenal drubbing.

Reece James is supposed to be the club captain. 2-0 up and fighting for a European place, he comes on and gets himself sent off and we just about hang on. Now he’s banned for four games as it’s his second red card of the season.

Sorry, but that is not leading by example. Needs to sort out his ill discipline. Can’t be having a petulant captain. Was premature to be making him captain in the first place but we’re stuck with the decision and he really needs to grow up.

Gordon was on Sky going in hard about VAR in his interview! Brilliant to see players saying it how it is! Clear penalty to Newcastle not given!

The elbow on Mudryk pissed me off with VAR tonight! They showed Reece on the big screens, 10 times on tele, got the Ref over, etc! Mudryk gets decked off the ball and has to go off, but VAR saw nothing wrong, its madness!

There is something really strange going on now. They have stopped showing clips of the incidents that happen during the game, while the pundits are watching them and commenting without letting us see..the Lampty incident, the push Jackson was supposed to do before he scored and the foul on the man city goalkeeper..normally they would show us and from lots of angles but nothing.

just on the offical view of europa/conference league from the Premier League website.

"

Whether sixth place qualifies for the Europa Conference League or Europa League, and whether seventh merits a place in UEFA competitions next season, depends on the outcome of the FA Cup final between Man Utd and Man City.

If Man City lift the FA Cup on Saturday 25 May, the place in the Europa League group stage that the FA Cup winners earn is transferred to the highest-placed league spot without qualifying for a UEFA competition.

As the UEL is of a higher rank than the UECL, sixth place in the Premier League would qualify for the Europa League, with the Europa Conference League spot moving to the club finishing seventh.

Should Man Utd triumph at Wembley and finish in the top six, they would qualify for the Europa League, while the team finishing fifth would join them in that competition, and the club in seventh would go into the Europa Conference League.

But if Man Utd beat Man City in the FA Cup final and finish seventh or eighth in the Premier League, only the side in fifth would join United in the Europa League, with the team finishing sixth playing in the Europa Conference League next season.

Jacko mixed up a thing or two but still played pretty well. Palmer also should have gone for an assist instead of a shot and also played pretty well.
