Marc Guiu

i dont believe anything Coco the clown says, there was rumours that Guiu and Maresca had a massive row after the Man Utd match, Guiu was brought back to cover for Delap yet he still wasnt picked until a lot of people in the media suggested the owners wanted him to be loaned out in January and that meant he couldnt play, IF GUIU WASNT TRAINING WELL THEN WHY WAS HE ON THE BENCH?

Also according to COCO the clown, its not how you play in a game its how well you train..maybe that explains why Gusto keeps getting picked every game

Estevao was superb against Ajax but there is talk that he will be back on the bench against Sunderland, WHY? he should be starting every game if he is playing so well, would Palmer be on the bench if fit, no he would be playing 99% of the games

Probably will be false 9 Pedro, right wing neto, 10 Enzo and one of gittens or probably garnacho on the left.

Awe inspiring attack that ain't it...

Once delap is back we likely won't see much of guiu.

I think maresca might try Garnacho on the right, he hasnt been outstanding on the left and apparently can play on the right. When Delap is back i think Guiu will be on the bench getting 30 mins here and there, unless delaps return is uninspiring or his injury recurs.

I'm all for easing a young player in and avoiding burn out in his mid 20's, but I see no reason why Estevao shouldn't be starting against Sunderland. Rest him against Wolves in the cup. Everybody wants him playing against Sunderland.

I find that hard to believe. Guiu does not strike me as the type to not give everything in training.

I also made the point to a friend that if he went public with this type of comment about a player like Sterling, or one of the young, senior players, Enzo for example, they wouldn't pi$$ on him if he was on fire. It might be viewed by some as good man management but its pretty poor media management, making comments like this about the apparent application of your players to the world's press.

He usually only makes these comments when the club are trying to push a player out. He did it with Chukwuemeka, Chalobah and Chilwell last season. He did it with Sterling and few others this season.

Yup.

Ideal for me is Neto right, Estevao10, Joao Pedro left and guiu up top.

Will have guiu in the middle and Pedro running in from the left for headers on netos cross inswingers that way.

He did it with Madueke on several occaisions.

Marc was almost invisible today. Very disappointing. I'm not sure if he will get many more starts. I'm not buying this running around looking busy lark anymore.

For sure a Jacksonesque performance today.

While he has good movement and is energetic etc... and had a serious lack of service today....

...but is he really any better than our top academy forwards like Mheuka??

I don't see anything special in him.
