Honestly great half from us. Started a bit shaky, but managed to take control of the game quite quickly. 

Some questionable defending decisions continue to be an issue for us, let's hope we don't let Villa back in the game via a stupid mistake.

Direct attacking patterns led to numerous chances, we definitely should have had one or two more goals. 

Pressing also has been very effective. 

More of the same in the second half please!

This Sancho and Enzo combo on the link looks promising.

Deserved lead, we have been the better side by a mile. The only problems Villa have presented came from our own mistakes, which isn't surprising.

Really good half, we're killing them with our high press. There was enough nonsense and enough moments of individual quality to make it entertaining too.

Yeah complacency creeping in, especially towards the end.

More of the same please. We have no need to push the issue, they will have to press higher and hopefully that will open up things at their end. We have all the appearance of being properly coached, except at set pieces. If we could get the odd cheap goal like the Arse get we could be cruising.

Whoever gave these refs licenses needs to be scrutinized. What the hell is going on?

There were 3 clear cut yellows that wasn't called, if the ref don't get a handle on this, there's going to be injuries or handbags moment

All of the refs have been a bit sh*t so far. They are missing all of these fouls by Villa, but seem to spot ours very easily and even give fouls that aren't even fouls. I still don't know how that was a foul throw by Neto.

Villa do look a shell of what they have been - so perhaps the tiredness excuse is correct. 

But whatever. Cracking finishes for both goals, and a clean sheet.... can't ask for more.
