Sanchez has looked a lot better when he just does goalkeeping jobs. The brain fart were all from playing out and rash decisions. Shot stopping, commanding his box and rolling it out to start counter attacks takes all the heat away from him, and he's decent enough at that stuff.

Pretty sure he finishes as best GK in the PL on season save percentage after today !

Today the team did what it needed and scored the winning goal then defended reasonably well, an academy boy got the winner and that seems quite fitting and appropriate (if not ironic after so many been sold). Club has qualified for the UCL in the proper way by getting top 4. Congrats to all the playing and back room staff.

All of us have a little 🥚 on visage today except Evissy whom I’d like to commend for getting it in the shorts from most of the forum all season and still holding his stance til the bitter sweet end. Fairplay matey !

And even more so begrudgingly I commend Enzo Maresca son of a poor Itlalin fisherman, he’s got us in the UCL saved the club from financial ruination and now has his winning 👁️ 👁️ on two massive 🏆 s, THE UEFA CONFERENCE LEAGUE CUP & THE FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP . They don’t come much bigger in ️ than those two beauties 🥹😅😂🤣

Carefree again then !! 😉

I think he knows qualifying for Champions League... While it is an achievement, it's not worthy of celebrating the way the other players are. A little embarrassing if you ask me, I'd expect it for winning the Conference League, a domestic cup, or reaching a Champions League final. But not for finishing fourth.

Big bonuses for qualifying

I’ve had few, but definitely feeling relieved and happy. Also confused because there’s no doubt we’ve struggled a lot this season, and we’ve been a hard watch a lot of the time. And I’m not sure how we’re remotely competitive next season in the CL. But hey, it’s kind of progress whatever way you look at it.

Maybe Estevao is the second coming of Maradona, Paez the next Cruyff, Lavia and Reece never get injured again and Palmer has his own second coming. And we then actually do start to resemble the vision @evissy has worked so hard to tell us we can’t see.

I'm actually more happy we've done this the way we have, than played them off the park and breezed it. Seems stupid, but i've seen us play well and coast to results. I didn't think this group had it in them to not turn up but also grind out a win.

Above all else, just happy. Lets sign off on a high on Wednesday and enjoy the summer.

The circumstances we are in. Have you not see what we are doing as a club? Did you register we changed owners? Have you witness us emptying house and replacing almost entire team with young players? What the f**k have you done last 3 seasons? Wake the f**k up!

It's only a hobby for you isn't it , calm down.

Stayed away on here, as wanted to concentrate fully on the game - Good grit to get over the line, but an awful game overall with very little created, very little ideas or flair, and vary little evidence from maresca that he can change that.

Definitely missed Jackson today

Evissy is an AI generated troll.

Just watching Joey Knight and Josh Aveste on YT and Josh is in the new home shirt. Whilst it's better than this seasons monstrosity I am really not sure I like it. The pattern is just too busy again and actually looks like it lightens the Royal Blue.

United losing is a good thing going into this game. Amorim will defo now field a 'strong' team to put some pride on an awful season. For instance the odds on Brighton winning have dropped hugely because the bookies no Spurs will be in party mode. United have to get back to drawing board. I don't remember a situation like this happening for a long while. The time we beat Liverpool 2-1 and qualified for the UCL with Gronkjaer is one that comes to mind. Either way really nervous. Forest are very hard to beat at their own ground. All of Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Villa have struggled to beat them. Newcastle are the only team around the UCL places who managed to beat them at their ground.

I called it.... 😉

I'm glad he feels that way; that self-reflection and criticism are often what sets players like him apart from the ordinary. Hopefully, he can reflect on his mistakes in the second part of the season and improve.

I actually agree with that but do it at home and on the training ground when the team are celebrating live that moment with them it’s a team sport and the feeling of togetherness counts a lot moving forward

The data said we’d finish 9th, every single pundit said a Forest win. It really was against all odds, right now.. we can play it cool, but this was truly a feat, regardless of how it was done. A genuine feat. Massive pressure, everyone counted us out, including fans and myself.

Time will pass, and we’ll chat sh*t again, next step is praying we don’t sign Garnacho, but for now, gotta just marvel at this.

No it did not and no they didn't. We have been favourites for the Champions League since December and despite incredible improvement by Newcastle and Aston Villa, that never changed.

Who said a Chelsea win? Carra & Neville said Forest, Sky panel of Jamie, Les and Merson thought not. 90% of this fan base thought we wouldn’t be able to handle pressure? Am I missing something here?

The outlook was so bleak after the Ipswich draw, and the prediction looked like a an abysmal finish but we somehow strung results together and other sides fell off.
