Or if you're this fking ridiculous don't even bother getting on the phone and making yourselves look stupid. Watch what price these morons value Kepa at though to get shot.

If it was Marina driving these deals i would say, maybe she could pull it off. You just know these clowns will either embarrass themselves and back out or they'll crumble anyway.

If we are "happy with the 4 goalkeepers in the squad", why are they even looking for another GK if they are happy with what they've got ? And why do they think we've only got 4 keepers LOL. None of it sounds good for Petrovic btw

Remember it took these muppets all summer haggling over £10m on Caicedo before Eghbali had to step in and get it over the line.

By completely over-paying vs what we could have had him for had we moved a bit quicker.

They are all as bad as each other for me.

lol, 8m for a goalkeeper like Maignan is an insult. Watch them to tell us to f*ck off.

We'll then pile in for Trafford to satisfy this Citeh academy hard on we have because Maresca spent 1 year there with the development squad. And then we'll all realise that actually, like when we saw him in the PL last time, for a very tall lad, he's actually a bit cr@p and no better then we already have.

Honestly just pay 15m or 20m for Maignan. He is better than what we have and it would be so nice to have an experienced goalkeeper with fantastic distribution, probably the best at it.

Haggling for the sake of 10m, is it really worth it

I suspect it’ll probably happen and a middle ground will be met.

Not going to win major prizes with Sanchez/Jorgensen/Kepa. Unsure on Petrovic, thought he was quite average whilst here, but allegedly had an excellent season on loan.

Just about everybody said we'd never get Top 4 with Sanchez in goal 😎

The signing of Jorgensen is one that continues to frustrate and annoy me. The reason being that we supposedly had all the “data” people and “experts” and we land on Jorgensen who is decent but not elite.

The early signings by Bohley with Sterling, Fofana I can forgive as it was quick and no structure in there. The later signings needed to be thought out more and better planned. Spending £25m on Jorgensen just to send him out on loan is a complete waste of money.

RM just paid £10m to get Trent out of his last month just to get him joined up for CWC.

I’m all for getting the best deals but they throw money around like confetti on crazy deals for un heard of teenagers one minute then get all nuns Noonie when it gets to players they feel they cant resell.

Oh and don’t give this one 7 yrs you idiots.

Wouldn’t be too sure, Onana was also highly rated before moving to Utd. The quality of the Serie A worries me, and can Maignan make the necessary adjustment at 30yrs?

If the club is so desperate for experience why not sign Martinez from Villa who is risk free?

Can't say I'm too invested in this saga.

If we sign him then great he's still a very good goalkeeper despite Milan having a poor season, motm v real madrid in CL and France #1 is not to be sniffed at. If not then I'm more than happy to go into the season with Petrovic.

Petrovic is just one to sell. It's clear that that's the idea of this project. If someone gets loaned out, then if they have a good loan, they are getting sold, as we'll have signed 4 new players for that position by the time they come back. SD's always have to have the new shiny thing and forget everyone they've bought already.

We're ending up with Sanchez as first choice aren't we lol

I think that's the least likely outcome but I also don't see Sanchez sticking around to be backup.

Lowball FC strikes again lol.

By the end of the day it’ll be £11m with add ons - it’s gonna be a long summer.

People have to understand that the board does this because Maignan's situation there is not something that puts Milan in a position of playing hardball in these negociations.

Milan have no European football next season, most of the players are unhappy and need to sell in order to bring new players in. Reijnders is off to City, Theo Hernandez will go to Atletico Madrid as soon as the clubs agree a fee and Maignan has one year left on his contract and told Milan he wants to leave because they did not keep their promise of offering him a new contract. Plus he is France's #1 and needs a good season for the upcoming WC in 2026 as he has a solid competitor for that spot in Lille's GK.

Milan really can't play hardball and ask for 30M for a player that is unhappy and can be a free agent next summer. And they are in no position to keep him on the bench either, they need to reduce costs and have a smaller squad next season as there is no European football for them.

I think Chelsea and Milan will eventually agree on something around 16-17M.

That's more or less where I am on this. I assumed, after the season he had, that Petrovic would be our #1 going into the new season and was at peace with that, so I was surprised to hear about our interest in this guy.

It's funny that he seems to polarise opinions on here between "sh*t" and "one of the best in the world". I think the reality is somewhere between that, and the £30 million price tag seems a bit rich, for me.

There is a thought that he will be off to West Ham dont dismiss the possibility that he along with a couple of others might be likewise joining up with Potter. The player possibly traveling from WH is Kudus

The reports are AC approved us no doubt trying to raise cash that they are in desperate need of. Not sure the SD had considered him as an option but if he can be bought in for say £10 million in a 3-5 year deal him coming would be a major plus.

Looking at our keepers I can’t but help feel that Penders is the chosen one but that’s in two to three years.

Kepa will be gone, his £10million Pa amortisation is now done but his deal was extended so he still has a year on his deal and with a £5 million release he will almost certainly be going back to Spain.

Petrovic is interesting one . He now has a depreciated value of at most £10 million. He still has 5 years left on his deal and from what little is out there in terms of information the club value him at over £40 million. Will he be sold ?

Bergtorm is now out of contract. I don’t think he will get a new deal . Bettinelli will stay for one last season . Jorgensen probably will remain as number 2.

As I posted earlier Sanchez won’t be number 1 next season. He likely will be off with WHU being a strong possibility. He has a current value of circa £15 million.

Stop being sensible when you an be ridiculously outraged by some random reports in the media. This kind of logical thinking has no place in the transfer threads.
