I disagree.. ANYONE is an upgrade, he was utterly useless. The hatred for the ownwers is clouding peoples judgement on him. For me they take some credit for getting shot when ther realised they made a huge mistake, one i would be suprised if they make next time.

I don't give them any credit for making mistakes, even if they then get rid of the mistake. It's happening every season.

2022 Derby County (interim)

2022–2024 Hull City

2024–2026 Strasbourg

So, Liam's manager career began mid 2022? wow! I did not realize how green he actually was. It explains a lot actually.

No BUT whoever takes the job needs to have it in their contract

  1. The manager picks the team

  2. No outside interference

  3. No one is allowed in the changing room before or after the game

Anyone insisting on a contract like that ain't getting the job anyway!!

I am kinda hopeful that the club have learnt what massive mistakes they have made in hiring sub standard coaches like Potter, Maresca and Rosenoir, so now know they HAVE to get this next appointment right.

Okay, we might not be getting a Pep, Klopp, Tuchel, Enrique etc, but if we get someone like Iraola, I will be happy, AS LONG he is given what he needs to turn things around. He has shown at Bournemouth, you don't have to spend big to produce a team that plays good football.

Notice how carefully Romano chose his words. "Important" manager. Not "Elite" or "World Class".

We're f**ked lads. Liquidate the club. This time next year we are going to be in the very same place.

Have to forgive him, second language after all.

He misspelled "lmpotent"

Swapping Liam Rosenior for Callum effing MacFarlane is like putting a band aid on the Titanic ...

I think we lose to Leeds and finish 13th now

Well we need all the Kinetic lot to do one with BlueCo so.

But there are several managers out there who would get a tune from our squad even with the interference from above.

The thing is, as soon as a project manager like Potter, Enzo or Rosenior win anything they do exactly what an experienced manager would demand before they took the job which is more control.

As soon as a manager feels like he holds the cards at Chelsea there can only be friction.

Our owners have bought into our Sporting Directors grand plan rather than the other way around. Rosenior is maybe 30% to blame. Stewart and Winstanley are much more culpable.

Isn't it that the ownership have appointed the SD'S to implement the plan they ( the owners) want them to implement? And they rewarded them ( after the CWC win ) with extended contracts to reward them for the great job they have done. Basically, it's an expensive and useless version of the Brighton model?

That old boy (with no sell on value) scoring their 3rd goal last night should be a lesson to our owners about a bit of experience being something beneficial to a squad.

Sacked. At last !

When you think of the calibre of some of the managers they've previously sacked, and then the cat and mouse with Rosenoir.

CHELSEA STATEMENT IN FULL

Chelsea Football Club has today parted company with Head Coach Liam Rosenior.

On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, we would like to place on record our gratitude to Liam and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club.

Liam has always conducted himself with the highest integrity and professionalism following his appointment mid-way through the season.

This has not been a decision the Club has taken lightly, however recent results and performances have fallen below the necessary standards with still so much more to play for this season. Everyone at Chelsea FC wishes Liam every success in the future.

Calum McFarlane will take charge of the team as Interim Head Coach until the end of the season with support from existing Club backroom staff, as we strive to achieve European qualification and progress in the FA Cup.

As the Club works to bring stability to the Head Coach position, we will undertake a process of self-reflection to make the right long-term appointment.

I must admit that I am glad (delighted is too strong a word) that Rosenior has been sacked.

But the bigger issue tonight, is that Stewart & Winstanley must also pay, by losing their jobs, for four abject years of mis-management, shockingly poor recruitment, consistent failure in critical decision making and a complete lack of interest in anybody's opinion but their own. Unless these two imposters are also sacked, they will again recruit the wrong Manager/Coach and fail yet again with player recruitment this Summer, all the while convincing the Owners to "follow the process" and give them more time.

STEWART & WINSTANLEY MUST GO - NOW

Andy Jacobs: "I've been told John Terry wanted to [take over until the end of the season], but they didn't want him. And they told him in no uncertain terms that he will never, ever get the job."

Blimey.

That's so funny.

Why is he wearing the kit? Is our squad that sh*t he needs to come in as a player manager?

He’d definitely be better than Gusto at RB.

  1. He'd call out the ownership/directors almost immediately.

  2. Ownership knows the fanbase won't ever turn on him, so their PR spins won't work.

This announcement should have been followed by another one about the sacking of all the Sporting Directors.

Stewart, Winstanley and all the other buffoons must leave. No point in sacking managers if these w**kers are in charge with bringing another one. They failed miserably with every single appointment and most of the signings for the past four seasons. Enough is enough, get them out of this club.

Well, we already know they are all c**ts, but this (if true) just serves to put that in bold and underlined ! Probably for the best that JT doesn't have any association with them.

This is why they label him as not professional enough for the job. By professionalism, they mean to do as you are told and never question the "project"

I don't see Iraola being the type of manager to put up with a a bunch of BS !!! I cant see him coming to Chelsea.

Adding more reasons why McPuppet should be told to F off by the fans from minute 1.

Thats what BlueCo think of our club, our legacy. To treat JT that way.

I don't care if they sack all the directors and hire Campos. There is no forgiveness for what they have done to our club. there is only BlueCo out.

My respect for Iraola, like for Frank or Cesc, is too high to want him come to CFC LDN. Things need to drastically change.

My respect for a toilet brush is too high to want it to clean Eghbalis toilet...
