Savour the game on Tuesday it’s gonna be a while before we see Champions League football again.

Just as well. Gotta feel sorry for the poor sods who watched that today and have to come back on Tuesday to watch a game we've already lost!

Who's David Praton - the guy on Setanta Sports ? Summed us up really well - crap lol

Dreadful - Newcastle didn't really have to do much and they picked up 3 points

We huffed and puffed and tipped and tapped...

And got what we deserved - nothing.

Fck these owners and SD., to think we had no attacking subs to bring on is a joke.. we have 2 LBs 2RBs 5 fckin centre backs.. 5 CM 1 attacking Mid 2Lw 2St 2 Rw.. this squad planning is a joke and we didn’t even loan an attacker..impossible these guys are complete clowns and incompetent..

How are they going to make money from that though? They will lose champions league money and sponsors

They are waiting on a SuperLeague structure (not that we'd qualify for that anyway) and individual club media rights cos they are that fking deluded that they think we would all sign up for that sh*t on a DAZN CFC.LDN ppv channel. Like fck.

Does anyone still remotely believe this squad is good enough to be top four if we had a decent manager? Yes the manager is sh*t but f**k me this is an average bunch of players.

Only ones I would say would hold their own in a top four squad (notice i didnt say starting 11) are James, Pedro, Caciedo and Palmer (im excluding Estevao for now, he gets a pass as young).

A few others are mid table standard but a sh*t load are lower half. 8th or 9th we will finish this season.

How are we supposed to attract top players to the club? No one in their right mind and full of ambition will even consider joining us. Instead, I fully expect the likes of Palmer and Estevao force their way out.

In the space of a few days we’re virtually out of the Champions League and have a slim chance of getting back in it now.

A terrible few days.

It's been a terrible 4 years for the club. The CWC was covering the cracks, but there has been no upside under this ownership, it's just years of pain.

Had chances but didn’t take them.. loss of concentration at the back.. hope the Reece experiment ends now..

nothing new here.. too complicated tactics, fofana losing concentration, delap is sh*t .. no player can beat a man..

to top it all Le Arse will win the league.. gawd this is dipressing worst week for this club in years..

Did we really though? Did we actually create any real decent scoring opportunities. Perhaps Palmer's slice but I'm struggling other than that. Even James' free kick hits the post on the outside. It's probably Ramsdale's easiest away game this season

f**k these American owners, they are ruining the Premier League. They don't give a sh*t about football, their one and only interest is the money. Chelsea could fold and Eghbali and Boehly wouldn't feel any shame about destroying one of the biggest football clubs in the country, they would write it off as a failure and move on to something else.

The FA has also completely failed to protect English football. Their fit and proper test when it comes to ownership has done one thing, put almost half of the biggest league in the world in the hands of billionaires from a country that doesn't even like the sport.

This is the saddest part.

At least these w**ker owners get to go into the dressing room and engage with the players

Agreed. It was a walk in the park for Newcastle.

2 words for me losing 2 hours of my life...

Foookn pitiful...

That's for me knowing that it would be & for me sitting in hope that it wouldn't be.....

I'm definitely not going to watch Tuesday night (1st in yrs to miss)... PSG must have been laughing their arse off at that tonight, cos that's what they'll do come Tues but they will destroy us on the break & not need to fall over like Gordon!..free weekend for them & fresh against clueless pricks like that ..more backwards passes than attacking or probing..

Need to spend billions again this summer to replace the deadheads on that team... week upon week we're pressed & struggle at back, yet opposition run out with the ball & we are caught........aarrrggg.... can management not fookn see that....or is this instructions coming from boardroom 🥴

I like a 5.30 TV game. Get all up for it. Son comes over, get a takeaway and enjoy watching the super blues.

Not tonight though. That was poor and now we're both thoroughly pissed off and wondering where our club is heading.

Other than Palmer, the rest were bang average. So little creativity, so ponderous and no urgency. We never looked like scoring. Defence was all over the place - both Trev and Fofana deserve to be dropped. Another 90 minutes from Enzo which amounted to f**k all. Pedro hardly had a kick. Garnacho reminding everybody why we shouldn't have signed him. It was all just so sh*te with little on the bench to change anything.

That game summed up how I feel about football in general right now. Boring.
