August 18, 20169 yr Apparently the Bison was back as a part of of a 'Chelsea loan XI' for a friendly against Brentford: http://www.brentfordfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/brentford-b-v-chelsea-xi-3255467.aspx Our side included Bamford, Piazon, Omeruo, Solanke, Atsu, Marin, and more interestingly Rémy and Kenedy. More to the point apparently Josh McEachran plays for Brentford's B team... Good to see his career on an upwards trajectory *ahem*

Marin?! That poor guy really needs to find a club somewhere in Germany, there is no point whatsoever for the club to keep him. Shame though, his move to us was a waste of his career.
August 18, 20169 yr Sadly enough he's 27 now as well! I also saw a website which claimed Marin got suspended by Trabzonspor at the end of last season but haven't been able to find anything else which backs that up - does anyone know anything about that? Edited August 18, 20169 yr by PloKoon13
August 18, 20169 yr in the build of for the battle of Supa Frankie vs slippery G, this interview was conducted by Alison Bender with Super Frankie Lampard
August 18, 20169 yr Got my tickets, hoping to see a Lampard hattrick and a typical Slippy G assist. Strange though - being a Sydney FC and Chelsea fan, I still feel dirty about cheering NYCFC.

August 24, 20169 yr The hypocrisy on this forum is really starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth.Jon Stakes knowledge of African players is excellent and uses a lot of credible information to back up his thoughts. Though he might show a little bias when trying to place them into our team, he still does by far and away a better job of adding substance to this forum than the likes of some.Farewell Papy and goodluck

Farewell Papy and goodluck What hypocrisy exactly? He constantly bigs up average players simply because they're African.
August 24, 20169 yr He constantly bigs up average players simply because they're African. Jon had the foresight to suggest Koulibaly before most of us jumped on the bandwagon with our opinions to be fair. Even if I don't always agree I like his posts and hope he continues. The forum would be dull as f**k if we all agreed on the same thing.
August 24, 20169 yr Half the f**king Premier League big ups players because they're English so I really don't see anything wrong with what Jon Stakes says

It would be but at the same time common sesame comes into play at times aswell and nit just suggesting players based on their nationality.

Koulibaly has been talked about for about a year now, it was hardly unearthing a hidden gem
August 27, 20169 yr Carlo opens up the Bundesliga season with a 6-0 thrashing of Bremen. Lewandowski hatters, not bad.

September 2, 20169 yr Lampard with a brace in the last 10 minutes to win in a game unofficially dedicated to him for reaching 300 goals for club/country.
September 2, 20169 yr what an incredible player. we'll never see his like again. never. when he was being described as a huge flop out there did anyone, even for a second, doubt he'd ultimately prove himself? he's too driven, he works too hard and he's simply too good.
September 2, 20169 yr We bought Drogba back, we brought Mourinho and Hiddink back and now Luiz. Shall we just bring Frank back for the hell of it?

Pogba pales massively to Stevie 'slippy' G, never mind Sir Frank of Lampardshire...

Guarantee if he was Spanish/Italian and had a more exotic name this country as a whole would have gone mad over him.
