Didnt look better than batshuayi on youtube, which is suprising because everyone usually looks like ronaldo on there! 

Not seen or heard much of him, it would seem a strange use of funds. 

Maybe someone who has seen him can offer some insight into why we would be looking at him?

I see potential in this, he looks like a strong striker, though it seems that one of his goals was from a penalty.

Suprised we havent gone in for Osimhen. Similar record to Diallo, but 4 years younger, and has champions leagie experience.

I do think it would be great to add some height and physicality in midfield, but i wouldnt say it is a priority by any stretch. 

We hsve been linked with soumare, guimarães, berge, and now gedson, so maybe it is a position lamps wants something different. All 4 are fairly similar. 

I like soumare but i think gedson could go on to be a quality player aswell. 

CM, really? One who only West Ham are interested in and can’t get into benfica team. Seems extremely odd to me.

Mount and barkely are not central midfielders, RLC isn't either really. Of the other 3 there's not much physicality between them, or height. That might be something Lampard has decided is a problem. 

I think I would prefer Soumare from Lille, who we’ve also been linked to, to Fernandes.

Matt Law has dismissed the links to Fernandes.

Sky bet probably making a killing.

Good thing too. If you're not getting on the pitch regularly at Benfica you certainly have no place in our midfield.

Based on current rumours it might be Issa Diop of West Ham. Supposedly he would cost about 40m

Nope, I wouldn’t be against Lemar either. Could turn out to be a shrewd signing while his value is low, like Kovacic.

Kovacic is worth far more than 40m now, even though it didn’t seem the case at the time.
