Incredible how underrated he is in the world, I want us to win the CL this year just because to get Azpilicueta more credit from the world. He's just fantastic, if he was playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid, then football fans would be saying that he's one of the best in the world as a defender. We're very lucky to have him here, back in years we've signed only for 7milions, crazy!

I find the stat about one mistake leading to a goal in the last 3 seasons amazing. He’s worth twice as much as that Neymar bloke in my books!

Love the guy. Good defender, delivers decent crosses, always give a 100%, isn't a headcase, no fuss, no stupid crap like dabs or whatever even his haircut is always clean and simple.

I wished he had the ability to beat 2 guys and score a goal but that'd be greedy

Captain's performance last night. Looked out of sorts and out of form for a few games so was good to see him back to his reliable self last night. 

Our most important defender. 

Thought he was brilliant as usual last night, however was disappointed seeing him jump in before the goal and miss the ball. Would he have been better just jockeying Iniesta? Easy to say now looking back i suppose.

He's probably thinking the same thing. There is nobody better in the game at containing than Azpilicueta in my opinion, he should have just stuck to what he is best at.

Very true. Must have seemed like the right thing to do in the split second he had to decide last night.

He probably thought the ball was there to be won from a sliding tackle. He was about an inch away from getting his foot on it.

Exactly. Or perhaps underestimated how fast the ball was travelling.

He can join Eidur as an honorary cockney any day of the week!

I know luiz is out of favour but I would bring him back in and play azpilicueta at full back again. he can defend and he can get forward. 

I get the sense Dave is tired, can't remember the last time he didn't play. 

Hopefully Luiz is fit enough to play and I can't help but think he should spell Dave against Barca. 

I reckon we should try Dave in midfield with Kante.

He basically masters whichever positions he’s asked to play RB, LB, RCB... so why not play him with Kante to solve the midfield problem?

Not like we don’t have plenty of defensive options to replace him... worked with Lahm at Munich.

That’s my random thought for the evening anyway.

Because while he is good on the ball for a defender, they would press the sh*t out of him in midfield, and his technique and close control are not good enough for the role that he would be asked to play and nor is his passing.

Lets leave him where he is, because he is absolutely amazing there
