March 26, 201511 yr Just scored for Brazil, maybe it would help him to back to his form. Even when he does hit top form I'm still not a huge fan of his.
March 26, 201511 yr Oscar has to be immense for about 5 games in a row to get any credit. Willian gets hailed as a deity for winning a tackle in midfield against Leicester City until about month ago when people woke the f**k up.
March 26, 201511 yr He had a good game tonight, as did that winger who goes past players with pace. Hopefully they can start showing some form for Chelsea. It bugs me when players perform better for their country than they do with their clubs. Edited March 26, 201511 yr by Scott Harris
March 27, 201511 yr Oscar was saving himself for this match I guess, like he was saving himself for the World Cup. :)

This forum was full of positivity around Oscar until his form started dropping in Winter again. Willian's biggest asset is that he rarely has a "bad" game. Nobody here thinks Willian is world class or a match winner, but he's consistent and dependable at being who he is.
March 27, 201511 yr Keeps the ball very well, and I think most people would still be a pretty lenient on Willian if his work rate hadn't dropped somewhat the way it has in recent games.
March 27, 201511 yr Why does he continually play better for Brazil? It's something Jose should have a look at.
March 27, 201511 yr Why does he continually play better for Brazil? It's something Jose should have a look at. Less pressing and tracking back, link-up with Neymar, freedom to create and move about which means less rigidity in tactics. It could be several things honestly, or a combination of all these things. Maybe he just feels he has to perform for his country more than his team. Only he knows.
March 27, 201511 yr ^ Reason why I'm always in two minds about criticising him (though I usually do end up caving in and doing it anyway). Also why I don't want him sold. Some manager or other will end up giving him the freedom to express his talents fully and we'll once more end up looking like mugs having let a very good player get away.

"Chelsea star Oscar tracked by Juventus as club scouts watch Brazilian midfielder score against France in Paris" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3017078/Chelsea-star-Oscar-tracked-Juventus-club-scouts-watch-Brazilian-midfielder-score-against-France-Paris.html Assuming Pogba is sold I guess they'll be looking at bringing in a marquee signing. "Liverpool also have an interest but that deal would prove difficult." Ahahaha Edited March 30, 201511 yr by the special one
March 30, 201511 yr DM reporting Juventus are interested; http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3017078/Chelsea-star-Oscar-tracked-Juventus-club-scouts-watch-Brazilian-midfielder-score-against-France-Paris.html Only way I can see us considering selling Oscar would be if we really are interested in signing Bale. I would imagine we would ask for something like £35-40m for Oscar, especially considering he has only just signed a new 5 year deal. Then if Bale signed I imagine Willian would then become the regular #10.

Can't see Mourinho playing hazard, bale, fabregas, and another creator. Maybe bring in someone like witsel, or modric who has been linked with city. Front 6 of Hazard costa bale Modric/witsel matic fabregas.
April 1, 201511 yr Is anyone else a bit startled at the ridiculously low valuation the media has of him (30M euros). Regardless of whether or not he would leave. When you consider his age, ability and potential and compare it with the likes of Ross Barkleys laughable £50M.
April 2, 201511 yr Liverpool Echo trolling scousers with a story that Liverpool will try to buy Oscar from us in the summer_ laugh?, I nearly cried.
April 2, 201511 yr Lets give him time. Still ridiculously talented player and a young one. Needs to play more.
April 2, 201511 yr Lets give him time. Still ridiculously talented player and a young one. Needs to play more. how much time he needs? It's his 2nd season with Jose and again he's not consistent. He had only a couple of good matches at the beginning of season that's it. I seriously think its time for him to go.

I seriously think its time for him to go.No. Excellent player. Can't play his full potential all the time. I expected him to be better at this point tbh but if Jose doesn't play him he can't be in form. I think we'd be stupid to let a player of his calibre to go. We need a guy who can shoot from distance and can connect with Haz and Costa. He is far mire direct to Willian.
April 2, 201511 yr Oscar has been given all the time and patience that De Bruyne never got. And he's not done much with it really. It's a shame.
April 2, 201511 yr Oscar has been given all the time and patience that De Bruyne never got. And he's not done much with it really. It's a shame. I think that's true and I'm really not convinced that the Brazilian experiment has worked. A more muscular, European midfield might well serve us better both in England and in European competition. How I yearn for the days of Michael Ballack and Frank Lampard.
April 2, 201511 yr I think if we get a good price for him, like 30m+, then we should sell him. An unstable player, we need someone who always shows a good form even in bad games.
