March 9, 201610 yr I think it's a disgrace how he thinks he can just ask for a sub because of an injury after he knows the game is done and dusted. Disgusting attitude, someone who actually cares for the team will play on through thick and thin regardless of if it's a lost cause. Not the first time either! Edited March 9, 201610 yr by Erik
March 9, 201610 yr Third time this season he's told the bench to take him off because he's "injured".

March 10, 201610 yr Last season I would have been horrified by the prospect of Hazard leaving us so soon but now I don't care if he leaves in the summer! This season has demonstrated that his heart is not in it when it comes to succeeding at this club and we're better off having players who want to be here and have the desire to succeed here.

This season has demonstrated that his heart is not in it when it comes to succeeding at this club and we're better off having players who want to be here and have the desire to succeed here. At this point, i'm expecting him to finish with zero Premier League goals. I would not be at all surprised if he never scored another goal this season, or for us to be honest.
March 10, 201610 yr Tonight was the first time in ages I've seen him actually go at a few players, and even have a shot....and he injured himself. Maybe that's what it's been. Maybe he's more fragile physically than we thought and he's afraid to exert himself for fear of injuring himself. It would explain the downturn in his play this season. Maybe this injury isn't a bad thing though. Every time he plays he's decreasing his transfer value so let the guy spend the rest of the season recovering if needs be, and give his minutes to Kenedy or Traore. If he's not expected to be around then let's start building for the future.
March 10, 201610 yr He just doesn't care anymore. Drop from the first team and give his minutes to youth. Hardly got anything else to lose now.

March 10, 201610 yr Yep yep yep. My feelings exactly. Last year I didnt think I would be hoping we sell him this summer!Apply this logic to what you said on Jose (how he deserves more respect). Maybe many didn't expect he would throw tantrums this season.
March 10, 201610 yr Arjen Robben......Arjen Robben........ Not sure what made that chant come into my head as I was reading this thread! I fully expect us to get rid of Hazard this summer (I hope we do as there's nothing worse for a fan to see than a player that doesn't want to fight for the shirt), then in 2 or 3 years time we'll be asking if we were too hasty. The sad truth is that it's easy Hazard will be a player of immense quality, but when you really need him to step up for the team he hasn't got the balls. I'd much rather see someone with less ability but some fight.

Not sure why he is getting so much stick after last night. Best he's played in ages, tried to get the team going with some mazy dribbling. But he came he came off injured, which is obviously a fake injury....again. doesn't care about this club, let's sell him to madrid and replace him with a workhorse. How about milner?
March 10, 201610 yr Not sure why he is getting so much stick after last night. 7 months of poor performances, interviews about about clubs, swapping shirts on the pitch at half-time....I agree that he was better last night than he has been for a while but you can't ignore all this stuff that went before. He looked interested in a big match. Isn't that the absolute bare minimum you expect from a player?

March 10, 201610 yr If this season (after a champions year) depends from just 'one player', then you guys have a serious problem! I hope the Chelsea family is strong enough, ... Think it's a number of things over time, but Hazard seems to be one of the last things to fix.
March 10, 201610 yr A Madrid-based French journalist named Frédéric Hermel did not tweet this out to almost 200,000 followers on Twitter, but the TV show on which he dropped this bombshell sure did. .@fredhermel: "Hace poco ME HAN DICHO que el Madrid LO TIENE HECHO con Hazard". #ElChiringuitoDeMega pic.twitter.com/wUhA7FvNin — El Chiringuito TV (@elchiringuitotv) March 9, 2016 That is, Hermel has been recently told that Eden Hazard to Real Madrid is a 'done deal'. As far done as such things can get without any actual agreements between the two clubs. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2016/3/10/11192016/eden-hazard-to-real-madrid-is-a-done-deal-report Edited March 10, 201610 yr by BelgradeCFC
March 10, 201610 yr I was at the game last night and PSG deserved to win, their passing was a lot better than ours and they wanted it more. Not enough of our players close down quick enough and other than Willian they look like they are lacking passion. When PSG were on the attack last night Hazard was just strolling slowly back to help instead of running and showing he wanted to be there. He gets paid 200k a week and all he does is some fancy dribbling around the box with no end product. His game is too predictable now as it's easy for teams to know that he will just dribble around the pitch but won't put in many good balls to set up a goal. Get rid of him and give all the younger players game time now, it's time to rebuild NOW. Edited March 10, 201610 yr by Dazliquid

My post wasn't a reaction to his performance just last night though. I have no trust when I see either hazard or Costa signal that they want to be subbed without being able to clearly see why, I just don't believe either of them have the desire to play for us. As for Milner, I've always liked him as a player and would have welcomed him if we'd brought him, yes I agree with your sentiment that he works hard but he's also underrated in my opinion. Ask a fan of a team he's played for!
March 10, 201610 yr WOW just wow last year to guy gave everything this season he’s not worthy shows how fickle fans are. If we sell him we will regret it and will not attract a player of his quality for years to come add to that we will struggle to get back into the CL if based on this http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/index.htmlwe lose 4th spot if Italy does well in the CL and Europa league this season. Lazio and Juventus are still in and if they progress to at least the semi BPL is in trouble. Last night hazard played well compared to the team running at defenders coming deep to get the ball trying to make things happen and he was tracking back constantly but because of his form he’s the one getting singled out. Two defensive errors and standing off PSG cost us last night not Hazard not tracking back or not scoring. If he leaves this summer its because of fans not because he doesnt want to fight for the club. I said this before but we are in danger of becoming another liverpool or Arsenal just happy with barely making it anywhere getting selling our best players. Edited March 10, 201610 yr by Brutos
