He got longer financial security and gets to remain in London where his family are no doubt happy and his kids in school. It’s a no brained for him. Does seem such a weird signing for Arsenal to make in terms of ambition (no disrespect intended), I’d love to know his wages.

I read that Arsenal's thinking was they needed some more experience, they were short of players around the thirty mark.

How many years is his contract?

three years according to soccernet.com, and on 100,000 pounds per week they state.

Read that it's taking into account signing on fee and bonuses etc. raking it in due to being a free transfer. Basic salary is probably still £100k

Hmm true, I guess he can act as a good example to the youngsters. I think I read a couple of tweets or what have you from our lot saying how much he helped them when initially signing. Might have got that completely wrong. We’ll see, they’ve signed PL experience and whilst he’s never set the world alight, he has proven PL experience which is invaluable in some aspects. 

Knew he'd lost his place in the Chelsea team with the  signing of Ziyech and the imminent arrival of Havertz. Out performed by Pulisic in his first season so he's moved to an average team to ensure himself regular football.

Goodbye to the most frustrating and overrated player I have ever seen play for the club. Capable of being brilliant for one month of the season and then failing to take on a full back or take decent corner for the rest of it.

How is he overrated, nobody ever praised him even when he carried us on many occasions - neither the media, nor his own fans. Throughout the years the little praise I've heard about him came out of the other fans, coaches(Guardiola, Klopp) etc.

Surely you're joking. Football pundits, the media, rival fans, they never stop saying how amazing he is, it's only the Chelsea fans that watch him twice a week that point out his flaws.

I personally don't think Willian has ever carried us. In the sh*t season where everybody was sh*t, he obtained his usual levels but it was never anything special and every time we have won something, he has never been a key player in that success.

Ok, you must be taking the piss here. So no one praises him  and you’re praising him saying he carried us on. And even add “nor his own fans”, aren’t you a Chelsea fan?
