Victor Moses

Featured Replies

I can't see anything but a bite on the arse coming from loaning players to the scousers...with an ex Chelsea as coach, an ex Chelsea scoring for fun and even an ex Chelsea improved lately at RB all we need is a loan signing making this lot actually have a real possibility of a CL place.

I'm not so bothered about Romelu going to Everton as although he looks to me like the best striker we had here (can't rate Eto'o until hes had a few games)

I believe Torres would always be first choice and he'll get more games at Everton, hopefully proving he's the real deal and coming in next season.

I don't know where this leaves us with the squad rotas for the CL and the league but I'm sure with Moses and Lukaku out it will make it more complicated.

I won't compare Moses on ability to Wilian until he's had a chance to show what Jose has seen in him but from what I have seen, I think he'll be a good addition, sad as I don't see a way back for Victor with the wealth of talent we have.

if Hazards Achilles keeps him out for two or three weeks it will be an interesting dilemma for Jose as to bringing Mata in or Wilian, I can see the board here smoking come the Everton game if its Wilian.

Still think he is just as good if not better than Willian, especially for the stupid fee of 30 mil we signed him for. Moses is a hardworking loyal player and I feel like the club has treated him like sh*t. Most likely never to play for Chelsea again. Absolute mistake on our part! Such a shame.

This is you uninformed. Lets give the man a couple of games and judge this deal informed...

Here is a link Moses Liverpool interview.

He did say it, he doesnt look very happy to be there cant blame him.The highlight at 0.42 when playing for Wigan showing exactly why i wanted him here a real handful.

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x143t93_victor-moses-first-liverpool-interview_sport

my highlight is around 2:35 when asked to describe what sort of player he is, he says "im thick"... brilliant

Chelsea take Bennyoun off their hands for a fee - he turns out to be as useful as a pair of tits

on a nun.

Chelsea pay 50 mill to take Torres of their hands- he turns out to be as useful as an ashtray on

a motorbike

Chelsea sell one of only a handful of strikers in the England sqaud to them for clearly 30 - 50 pence on the pound (compared to this summers prices for equivalent foreign talent)in January, who goes on

to score for fun for them.

Chelsea now loan them Moses a player who was bought for 9 mill a year ago, hand only a few opportunties

but did score a lot in Europa cup contributing along the way to winning it. He will probably do ok for them.

Carry on Chelsea.....

Still we refused to let Ba go to Arsenal on the grounds they are close challengers - so presumably that means we've made a calculated decision that Liverpool are not contenders and so it's safe to let them enjoy having Victor Moses.  I have a feeling that this move will become permanent, maybe in January maybe later.  I don't like us strengthening Liverpool but I think the relationship with Rodgers is a factor here, same goes for Steve Clarke.

No this is you misinformed. I have been to St. Petersburg and Moscow so many times in the last two years and have seen Willian play plenty. He can produce a moment of creativity but for the most part he is inconsistent and lazy. Maybe this move can change his motivation but I haven't seen it. Again I still think Moses is just as good.

Moses seemed like a chilled cool head off the pitch, he didnt mind the bench as I think coming from Palace via Wigan he knew he was

finally at a TOP club, also I love his story - orphan out of Nigeria after parents murdered in sectarian violence comes good in London as a footballer;

as mentioned also popped up with a goal or more in his debut season and was a homegrown quota maker

Will miss him, didnt get a fair shout, but now hes at the dippers he's a red, Willian I hope is up to the price tag, seems CFC got

him just to piss off Spuds over Modric probably, maybe I'm wrong and he is miles better than young Vic, so far the Brazilians signed have been

pretty good (Belletti, Deco, Luiz, Rambo, Oscar & Piazon) we shall soon see............

In Russian league for Anzhi or for Shakhtar...there are no lazy players under Jose you know that. I admit I know next to nothing about him but neither do you as you have not seen him play for us. I admit you are right if he fails for us but lets give the man a chance.

You sound like this is Torres mk.2. Haven't played a minute and already he is kicked down and from the looks of it he'll be blamed for that £32m price tag as well.

I understand the rant and letting Moses to Liverpool but lets just see how this pans out.

willian cost 26.5m. I don't understand where 32m keeps coming from.

Red tops.

If a transfer fee is reported as "undisclosed" it's fair game for the media to speculate on what the actual fee was but if you report something for long enough people believe it to be gospel.

I'm guessing it's 32m Euro's but some folk conveniently make it £32M.

That said, it's still a lot of money for the type of player we already had a lot of and have now sent one of those to make a rival stronger.

On the face of it not great business but time will tell.

Donesk are in the Ukrain, and Anzi is a little sh*t whole in russia so when did you see him play exactly, I'm assuming TV and no live in that case?

The name of the city is Makhachkala, it is the capital Dagestan with almost 600000 inhabitants. Also Anzhi play their home matches in Moscow.

Aah okay i just threw the pound sign there. Wasn't really sure was it Euro's or Sterling.

Don't know if this has been posted.  From the Liverpool Echo:

— Moses is quick and skillful. His scoring record at Chelsea last season – 10 goals in 43 appearances – was decent considering he didn’t start that often. It’s a similar scenario to when we signed Daniel Sturridge. Moses has come to Anfield with a point to prove after not getting game-time at Stamford Bridge. Moses has actually gone out on loan to a bigger club which doesn’t happen often in football. I’m sure sitting and watching Liverpool beat Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday will have put fire in his belly. The Nigeria international will be relishing the prospect of pulling on the shirt and playing in that kind of atmosphere. Moses will fit in well with the way we play and I don’t think he will want to go back to Chelsea next summer.

i'll have what he's having

A bigger club that their biggest achievement in the last 5 years is winning the carling cup. By those terms Swansea and Pompy are massive clubs also.

They really are the most deluded club on this planet. To still think they are a big club is just bat sh*t crazy! A team that havent finished in the top 4 for years, a team that a lot of their fans havent even seen them win the league. For them to still call themselves a top club is just insulting to football.

well actually, when he joined he was talking as if chelsea could be a springboard to playing for barcelona, which i didnt care for i must say

What is wrong with ambition?

Talking abput going to a tad bigger club after signing for his first top club, is not a good idea. And if the teams are some sort of rivals on European level...
