Luiz for me...no coincidence we played our best footy with him in midfield...he was everywhere...the yellow card made him a lot more cautious afterwards, but still came in with vital interceptions...keep him there Jose

Yep

Voted for Eden but could have easily voted for Luiz or Terry for his brilliant elbow into Suarez's face. One of the best I've seen. 

 

Willian worked hard but his continual giving away of the ball in good positions meant he wasn't in contention for my vote.

Could have given it to 6 or 7 players, but went for Cahill for keeping Suarez in his pocket and then trying to break his legs.

 

Oscar phenomenal. Hazard, Willian, Azpilicueta & Luiz all excellent.

 

Hopefully Willian's critics are starting to realise just how hard he works.

Willian for me.

Probably Luiz just because of the effect it had on the rest of the team.

I considered giving it to Willian, then Oscar, then Cahill, then Luiz, but I'm going to give it to Hazard. The goal just edges him ahead of the others for me.

Hazard. Cahill was our best defender and ran him close.

Hazard all day long

Hazard, I was watching with my stepson and said that Hazard would look the better player on the day, great to see him do it in the big games.

Thought Dave, JT & Cahill were all good in defence. Thought Lamps had a good 45 and Luiz was decent throughout. Oscar and Willian both did well but MOTM has to be Hazard who was dangerous and creative for the full 90 mins.

 

Proud of the team tonight.

Even though Hazard had a stormer of a game ive had to vote for Gaz Cahill he kept us in the game a couple of times. I would like to give each one of them a little medal saying " We beat the scum 2-1 " but im not sure that the FA would want me to do that.

So many to choose from, Azpilicueta ( again ), Oscar, Hazard, Luiz, Lampard in the first half. I will go with Azpilicueta though because he doesn't have a vote yet.

So nice to see Luiz with the fire back in his belly. I gave him my vote for that. The pass for the Luiz > Oscar > Eto'o goal was f**king sublime.

Gave Eden my vote, but would have given the crowd my vote if I could, Stamford Bridge was rocking.

It was actually Luiz > Dave > Oscar > Eto'o.

Good all-round team performance. Luiz, Willian, Cahill and Azpi all in with a shout.

 

But Hazard stood out for me. Really top, top player.

Oscar for me, tireless work for the 90 mins. Shouts too for Dave, lamps, Hazard and Cahill.

Oscar for me, what a sublime player he is turning into.

Hazard frightened Liverpool to death.All round good team performance, but the Belgian wizard reigned supreme.

I gave it to Hazard but felt he was run close by Cahill and Luiz.  Luiz (bar fact he misses next match) has given Jose a good decision to make.  He was dropped as a centre half for all the right reasons but today showed how much more dynamic we are with him as a holding midfielder than with Mikel.  Be interesting to see if Jose sticks with this approach.
