Paul Pogba - Needs to Sign!

I don't think we particularly need to sell to buy though, so why would we swap with oscar? Makes no sense. However, I would rather see us buy a different, cheaper midfielder; someone who can sit with matic and defend. From what I've seen of pogba, he doesn't track back or defend well enough.

Watch from 7:00, you also will watch his tracking back today in the final.

If it was possible I would totally swap Oscar + 20 to 35 mil for Pogba. This guy is very young and has great potential

that Jose can utilize in the future seasons at Chelsea.

I thought he was probably Juve's best player in that game to be honest, definitely would offer something different to Fabregas or Matic, reminds me more of a Ballack type player.

Keep him away from the defence, i.e. not next to Matic, and he'll do well.

I still think Schneiderlin would be a much better signing and a very important one at that, if any of City, United or Arsenal signed him he would improve them far more than any of them signing Pogba would.

I see him more as a 4-3-3 complementary player to Cesc and Matic, doing more of the box to box work and driving forward with the ball, again as I said Ballack-esque. Playing without a #10 would also perhaps allow Hazard to be given more creative freedom and less defensive duty.

I'm probably the only one disappointed in his performance then, doesn't look like a 60 million player to me judging from the Semi leg and Final.

I don't think he was amazing, but he was the only Juventus midfield player that actually had a visible impact on the game. Pirlo and Marchisio were largely anonymous and Vidal did little other than try and get sent off. And those are 3 world class midfielders so outshining them is no small feat. You could never have expected Juventus to dominate possession against Barca so obviously he didn't get to show off his full range of talents.

Marchisio performed better than anybody else in that team I thought, lol.

He'd suit us better than Vidal / Pogba to be fair but like Remodez said, Schneiderlin would be a much better signing. Barca president has come out and said he wants to sign Pogba anyways so it'll be hard to compete with that.

I see a lot of people talking about this Schneiderlin. Is he actually any good? I don't recall hearing much about him during the season, then suddenly everyone seems to want him now.

Think Matic, everyone knows the job he does and therefore it doesn't get highlighted as much as other players on the pitch during post match discussions.

All the signs seem to suggest he'll go to Barca, probably to replace Iniesta long term, though he is a very different player. Would have liked to have seen him in the premier league, but very glad it looks unlikely he'll go to either you or City.

As a country we really are quite far behind Barca, Madrid and even Bayern when it comes to recruiting the big players.

Witsel and Khedira are strongly linked to Juve. Would seem to me they're getting ready for one of he or Vidal to leave (along with Pirlo's impending retirement of course)

Khedira is confirmed.  4 year deal with Juve.
