Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Featured Replies

He said he was close to returning to training earlier this week, it would fantastic if he is back in training by the end of the month. Shane we have gone out of the league cup, as it wouldve been a nice target for him to make his return.

I think its going to be a few months though before he gets bsck to anything like he was pre injury.

Really hope he'll make a full recovery. He got a really nasty injury and have had a few set-backs in his recovery too. But fingers crossed.

Still a bit pissed at Sarri for risking him on that pitch in a pointless friendly.

I'm more pissed off at the club for arranging a such a pointless friendly.

Why? He had to put a team out. The club wanted that fixture, sarri had no choice.

I half agree, the pitch was definitely a big no no but the match in itself was necessary in my opinion (all be it should have been on a more suitable pitch and closer to home).

There was two and a half weeks between Leicester away and Baku, we needed a game for match sharpness and I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the main reasons we were much sharper all over the shop than Arsenal in that second half, if not the reason.

Fully agree, theres no way we should have went almost 3 weeks without playing before a final.

"It is a long road. It is a difficult one for Ruben because he is obviously keen. We all want him back. We know the quality but it is going out be a while. I feel for him because people ask probably and the good thing to say might be I am really pushing on. It might be next week. It might be next month but I don't think that will quite be the case. I think we need to let Ruben get on with it. We are all supporting him here but there's no immediate news."

He was an absolute beast last season, he's so unfortunate that he hasn't been able to start this season fresh, it would've been a perfect time for him to showcase the world how good he is.

Will be our best bit of business in January getting him fit! He can’t wait to get back and I’m buzzing for him to get back fit!

Like I told you before, bring back Dr Eva Carneiro. I am sure she would love to be on the sidelines the next time we play spuds

Doubt she'd want to come back into the world of football. Pretty sure i read somewhere she was a physio in her hometown or something now, not sure how true that is.

This is for Dr. Carneiro then

With our football, with the way we control the game and moving the ball, I think RLC is going to be a real monster under Lampard.

He is the best scoring midfielder we have, he can dribble and he can go past players. Can't wait to see him coming back and killing the game as soon as possible.

Don't get your hopes up, RLC is undoubtedly talented though does not stay fit for for long, hopefully this time he will leave us with some good memories before his next lay-off.

He's got to get himself into the team first which wont be easy.

Might be a bit easier after today's disappointment.

If Tammy misses games, I would certainly start him up front ahead of Giroud and would give him the nod over both Pedro and Willian.

He walks in to the team. He is vastly better than any other attacking midfielder or wide attacker in our squad bar none.

I dont want him playing out wide forget that. Same with Mount. I would start him but i think the way Kovacic is playing, Kante and Frank liking Mount it wont be easy for him to start every game especially with his injuries.

He wont start every game. We need to manage him well.

His best position is not out wide I agree. What I meant was he is better than all our current wide players even playing out of position.

As good as Mount is he is a level below RLC, as he should be based on age and experience alone.

Think you underestimate how truly special RLC is and how badly we miss him.

I just hope we're not expecting too much from him, same for Rüdiger btw. Love to be wrong, of course...

We have to be patient with both as they get their match fitness up.

Rudiger is not Terry or Desially but he will improve us. I dont expect he on his own can make our defence great though.

RLC on the other hand is a truly special talent. Now Hazard is gone I would say, when fit, he is our very best talent. Big statement I know and many will say surely Kante is. Not a knock on Kante he is brilliant, RLC is just such a rolls Royce of a player. Beautiful to watch him in full motion.

You'd better be right,  because if you don't I know where you live :Connie_threaten:

Yeah alright, I don't, I just don't want to be disappointed :sadwalk:
