Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Featured Replies

Best not to rush him back in my view. He is very injury prone and the last thing we want is for him to go down again. We need him but he is no good to us reinjured.

Think he will play at least 3 more games for the u23 before he makes the bench.

I think it will be 4-6 weeks, before he makes the bench.

Even if he is just used as an impact sub for the last couple of months, i think he could be a key player for us.

Realistically we wont see the best of him til next season, it's taken CHO a good few weeks to gain any sort of form. Be a great boost to have him back though gives a completely new dimension to our attack.

We could be looking at a season long injury here, well technically it already has been. But Jack Wilshere comes to mind, a promising young talent scarred by injuries, I hope this isn't the same case.

His return has come at the perfect time with Kante now injured for three weeks. I am always nervous with Loftus-Cheek though, because it doesn't take a lot for him to miss periods with injury. It is so frustrating because if fully fit, he has the potential to be world class. Let us hope he can remain fit for the remainder of the season. He will be needed more than ever.

Can't believe he's been out since May. Time has flown by to be fair.

That friendly looks dumber and dumber as time goes by. We're teetering on the edge of the CL and either making or not making 50m and our most creative midfielder hasn't played a game because of an injury in a friendly.

Give him 10 minutes when we're 4-0 up!

Last minute attacking sub to seal a 6-0 win!

Match fit now. Hopefully a 25 minute or so appearance tomorrow and then a start at Bournemouth.

We are talking about RLC, not Hazard or Messi. Can't believe you would risk putting him in such an important game when he didn't play a single minute this season.

Exactly. He needs to start tonight. He's miles better than hazard and Messi.

Please tell me you're taking the piss

Yeah same RLC who is our best player. 25 minutes or so is not asking too much of him tonight imo. We will be a better team when we get him on song and the only way we do that is by giving him minutes.

How was his performance against Everton U21?

There's not a lot of coverage on the match understandably, it's still going on and it looks like he's going to complete the 90 minutes. Going to have to wait for someone to write about him to know anything about his performance I think.

Very emotion video, good feedback by the club and it seems like he gets a lot of support by his home.

I must be so difficult to get this horrific injury in the season when you're one of the best players in a team, and in the next season coming a new manager that gives a huge chance to the academy players.

I really believe in his comeback, all the current period without games and team training he can prepare himself more and more. I just can't wait to see him playing for us in a game.

We f**king miss you Loftus Cheek!
